I cleaned my shower today, and I use Lysol with Clorox. The stuff work, but my I had to wear a mask, and I still smell the stuff. While I was cleaning, I keep thinking this stuff can't be good for me. If you guys have a better product, that is not very strong but will do a good job cleaning my shower let me know.

Bleach smells awful and can leave a lingering effect in your nose and lungs. I only use CLR for bathrooms and cleanser on the shower floor. Gets it real clean. I have an awful time with our shower and mold. We did have a new shower floor installed a few years ago but this one also seems to be on an angle where water lays there and causes mold. I have to caulk the shower about 3-4 times a year in order to keep it clean and free of mold.

Thanks to the two who had the solution for vinegar, baking soda and lemon; Much obliged and I will be trying it myself real soon. I have a bathtub that get dirty quick and if I can do it like that, that would save me time and effort. thanks.

Oh, Lord, be careful what you mix. NEVER mix bleach and ammonia; the fumes will kill you. Lysol and Clorox probably won't, but I still wouldn't mix it; you could get sick. As for natural cleansers, you can use vinegar, lemon and baking soda. Try the methods suggested here (not an affiliate link): http://housekeeping.about.com/cs/environment/a/alternateclean.htm
