Are you scared of driving through a bunch of fog all the way home?

I am scared of driving through a bunch of fog at night due to a bunch of reasons. For one you can not see the road very well at all through thick fog. When you can not see in the fog you could go off the road, hit a animal or car. If the fog is thick enough you might not even see signs on the road. This is a scary thought to know so much could happen when driving in fog. When driving in fog I am very carful and cautious. I would not want to be in any kind of fatal accident. I know someone who died in a accident due to fog. Fog can be very dangerous.

I am not very scared of that because fog hardly ever happens in my country. there were times when the rain was so heavy that i could only see the car directly in front of me. there was once when i was in totally heavy rain and heavy traffic and the traffic lights had spoilt. so i had to rely on my driving instructor's instructions to get through!

No, I'm not scared...I'm terrified! I've driven in some thick fog before. It was some years ago. I had gone to my husband's/then boyfriend's which was a good 40 miles away. I made the mistake of leaving his place late (about 1 in the morning, I think). Anyway, I decided to take the route that wasn't lit. The fog was so thick, I could barely see in front of me. I was scared out of my mind and drove like a little old lady. I must have been going maybe 30 mph or less most of the way home. I just prayed and hoped no one would ram into me (or me into them). Fortunately, for me, I made it home safe and sound. I vowed never to drive late at night when it's foggy like that as I never want to go through that again. Happy mylotting!

I hate driving in foggy weather. You have to go really slow and you cannot hardly see anything in front or behind you. I try to be careful but alot of drivers don't. I am so afraid they will cause me to wreck with them.

Driving in fog, especially a thick fog makes me very nervous. I always worry about hitting an animal, an animal hitting me, running off the road, getting hit by another car, and I even worry about someone jumping at me from the side of the road because I have to drive so slowly. Maybe that last part has something to do with watching to many horror movies. I actually avoid driving when it is foggy, raining heavily, or of there is a lot of ice and snow on the road. Unfortunately, there are times when it is unavoidable, and it is timees like that when I am more worried about other people's driving than my own.

Yes I am afraid to drive through fog as well. Of course, I am a very nervous driver and I also am afraid to drive in heavy rain. But I can do it. The worst is driving when its snowing. I don't drive much because I don't have a car and its been a long time since I've had one. But I remember once I had to drive home from school when the snow was coming down hard and I was so scared. I never felt comfortable driving in bad conditions.

I am scared driving in fog, and also, it is difficult at dusk, always seems harder to see clearly for some reason...just as the light is fading, but not quite dark yet. I hate to drive in the rain also, especially if it is heavy ;(

I'm scared of driving in fog too. In general I don't drive in bad weather. Before going out, I always check the forecast, and if it says that it's not good, I'll lt my car at home and take a public transport.

I don't like driving in fog and I can't say that I know anyone that does. I think it's one of the worse weather conditions to drive in. It's quite hard to see and most of the time you can't see anyone in front of you, behind you or coming at you on the other side of the road. It keeps me on the edge of my seat until I can get home.

Yea I hate driving through things that impair my vision for example rain. I can't stand not being able to see stuff well because then I don't know whats coming. I really slow down when there is fog because I don't want to hurt someone or miss a turn and hurt myself. I think the general rule is just to have your lights on for the best possible visibility.

i have never drived through a bunch of fog because i have never drived before so i guess i would be scared if i did have to drive through lots of fog. i'm scared to drive with the street lights cut off at night time. my mom had to do that because our state had a blank out for the longest time. and we almost hight someone they were dressed in all black so just thinking about driving in fog sounds ever scarey. fog to me is a sign of ghost what if ghost come down from where ever and start picking on humans. ahhh scarey. my fears are weird but fears non of the less.

Fog, snow, ice, heavy rains make me an unsure driver. Fog is like groping in the dark, even with your fog lights on. Fortunately, we don't have that much fog here. Years back, my husband and I drove from Brussels to Paris and it was just so foggy. You don't see anything. If there was a parking/resting place, we would have stopped but we couldn't see anything other than the faint tailights of the cars in front of us. We had to continue very slowly and it took forever to reach our destination.

Fogs at night sounds like some kind of horror movie where ghost or zombies jump to your window screen with bloody face , too much of getting freak out watching horror movie can result in overactive imagination as well.

Fog scares me too, especially at night. It can be very intimiating to drive in that, and you do have to be very careful.
