I have been doing a lot more cooking than I usually do lately. I love to create meals and see others rnjoying it. I recently got a recipe for a great banana pudding from an out of town cousin. It is sooo good. However, I was disappointed to find out that the recipe actually belonged to Paula Dean on the cooking channel. Have you ever thought a recipe belonged to someone you knew, only to find out later that it did not? Did you confront that person about it?

It wouldn't really matter to me. I feel bad for those people who try to pretend like it's their own; like they originally created the recipe. It's sad that they couldn't have just told you the truth from the beginning, and that you had to find out that it was from a celebrity cooking show! It seems kind of shady to me. But whatever. I wouldn't confront them, because to me it really wouldn't matter. I would just thank them for introducing me to such a great recipe.

It really doesn't matter if it was good. So she lied about the recipe?

well, it does not matter to me whether the recipes is from the original or simply a copy cat. and what find me as wrong is to let another person pretend that it is her recipes when in fact from another person who need credits for sharing it. though, what matter to me is how good i could imitate the cooking that my companion in the house could appreciate my cooking that they all praise me for cooking a delicious meal.

I love to cook to Rozie, but I like to cook for a lot of people. It is just 2 of us. and it isn't fun cooking for 2 people. when I do cook, I cook enough for 2 days. So you like Banana Pudding so do I that is one of my favorite Dessert dishes.

Only on line. I have never actually had someone give me a recipe that they claimed was theirs but they got it from someone else. I have gotten recipes from friends but I know that they got their recipes from their mom's or their mother in laws. My Sister in law used to make recipes that her mother in law taught her all the time and I asked if I could have a couple of them to prepare for certain parties but I knew they were not her recipes.
