Hi: Has anybody discovered any wonderful web sites where newbie writers can submit their work and get paid for it? Please let me know.

Triond, Helium, Bukisa, AssociatedContent (: I'm only using Triond at the moment, and it's been working okay for me (: I'm still earning waay more on mylot though, so I suggest you treat it all as a side project unless if you're confident you'll get a dedicated fanbase (:

Make long meaningful posts and generally try and be as active as possible (: I guess that's all there is to it. Don't really expect to get a lot of money fast here, though (: Chatting is the main focus on Mylot.

I know a lot of people write for Helium.com and they pay upfront once you reach a certain level...and I've heard of Associated Content and stuff. I don't write for those type of sites anymore (have got a freelance writing job), but I'm pretty sure if you ask around MyLot you'll get lots of feedback on those sites because quite a few people here are also on there. :) From what I've heard as well, they pay relatively well.

You can try Helium, AC and Triond. Helium is agood place to prove your writing skills and to earn more. Try triond if you have something nice to share with pictures. Pictures will help you earn more page views there.

Hi Sallysue, for newbie, I guess Helium is a good training ground. Helium groups a few articles in a title. As newbie, it's good that you write to a title with a few articles. In this case, you can see the different writing style, and learn to write appealing article. If you like to write for Helium, please send me a private message, I can send you the invite and guide you along. By the way Helium does not require exclusive rights to the articles, you can repost the articles in Bukisa and Associated Content to earn more. In this case, one article can earn from three different writing sites.

Thanks, I may just take you up on the spoon feeding. I've never done anything like that before.

I dont think anyone will pay for a newbie writer. But by writing and submitting your debut work, you can get popular. That's the way you gonna show your identity among millions of others.
