Do You Earn Points With Your Credit Card?

I have mentioned on here in the past that I earn Airmiles with my Canadian credit card. I have one in the USA too, but there are no points on that one, so I save that for emergencies, and only use the Canadian one on a regular basis. I earn Airmiles, $20 spent on the card = 1 Airmiles, and I get 30 Miles a month for 300 Searches on the tool bar I installed from the Airmiles site. Hubby and I are saving up for a vacation. What kind of points or miles do you get from your cards, how quickly do you collect them (what are they worth), how are you going to use them, and how close are you to that goal? I'm 25% of the way to a $100 gift card for Delta hotel with my airmiles card (I need 720 points and already have 190) and want to get one by April.

I don't have any credit cards so I am unable to earn any points for using one. I have my bank card but there are no rewards for using that. I do try to earn points for buying things through MyPoints (when I have the money which isn't often). It sounds like you are on the right track to get a gift card by next April, keep up the good work and you two will have that vacation!

I do nto earn any kind of points with my credit card. The one I have is not that good. They do not offer anything. They have actually gone down the drain since the economy got so bad.

I am more of a credit card person .. I hate bringing around cash... It like it because i would be able to monitor my expenses daily (i log on to my bank every night and make sure I keep track of my money through online banking).. the best part is..i can pay my credit card online... my bank offers points for my credit card purchases .. and since I have been buying international tickets with my credit card as well as my bi-monthly groceries... cmputers... i seem to have accumulated s good number of points already.. we were mailed a booklet/catalog whre we can select the gifts we can exchange out pints for........ i didnt like the ones i can have so far.. I think i'll save up more points to get me a plasma TV for free....... (oh boy..would that be another year?)
