When you hear the word 'friend' who do you think of from your past?

I am glad to say that I have had some very good friends in my lifetime. I recall one who I used to walk to high school with. She had a weak bladder and i would get her laughing and inevidibly i would make her pee her pants. Then there was the girl who lived across the street when i was a youngster. She was not the best of friends but she was who i knew. She threw my little kitten I had taken over to show her up in the air and nearly killed it. But, then there was my friend in junior high school. She and I would buy brownies out of the machine in the hall and eat them in Civics class. She would open hers very quietly and never got caught. I, on the other hand, always the co-ordinated one would wrestle with the darned celophane wrapper and make so much noise you would think I was opening the large, economy size donut box, not an itty bitty little two small squares of chocolate. And the teacher would embarrass me infront of the class by repromanding me. So, to get back at him i would get up and have to sharpen my pencil while he was delivering his spectacular repote on that week's civics topic. Oh, how I loved to grind that sharpener and sharpen my pencil down to near nothing! And my girlfriend and I would have a good hoot on it later during the boring film on government we were required to watch. I also recall later on afew years down the line when we went back to visit that same Civics teacher. We were both pregnant with our first children and about the same amount of months along. I can't recall laughing quite so hard as when she and I walked into his classroom and saw the look on his face as we both walked in big as barges waddling toward him. And his comment to us was priceless as well. "Well, you too always did everything together didn't you?" Now how about you? When you think of friends from your past who do you think of?

I am sure that this is going to sound sad, but I think of no one really. I have had friend sin my past, but well I stopped being friends with my personal friends two years ago when I met my husband. I can't remember everything that made us stop being friends, and I'd rather not go into it. I do sometimes think of them, but know that it's better off that I not try to get in contact with them. We drifted apart is all... and I became who I wanted to be, and maybe they didn't like it... or maybe they didn't like my husband, but I don't care. That sounds so mean, and I don't mean for it too. I am sure that you and your economics friend at a hoot afterwards when you walked out of his classroom after visiting him. You've made me think of a discussion! lol!

Oh, maybe alittle sad but life is that way. We move on and away for many different reasons. Glad I gave you a new idea. Enjoy!

Their are many people I remember whenever I hear that name. My closest friends since my elementary days and high school are the ones I thought of. Today, we never really had time together because of individual priorities and life. Some had family already and some were staying single. The time be together again or gather again is difficult and communication is at least 3 times a week. The only communication we have is through phone calls and texting, other than that, no other else. Its best to have friends, they'll help you for sure as what my friends always does.
