This cold weather has me in the mood for Chili! Problem is, I've never made it! I want to make it in my crockpot because I love cooking in my crockpot. It's easy and makes the house smell great! So what I'm search of is either easy chili recipes OR crockpot chili recipes. Share!!

4 alarm is a great chili starter package. It is really tasty and you pretty much add beans and/or ground beef. I have never made chili from scratch and always used a package. I like this product because you can alter it to match your desired amount of spiciness. I think I might make some chili for dinner tomorrow night. Thanks for making me think of that. I like it best in the crockpot and the house always smells so good when things cook all day.

I get it in the "ethnic" section at my grocery store. There are usually three or four options but I really like the 4 alarm because you can modify it to your tastes. Look around and I bet your grocer carries a similar product if not the same one.

I cheat when it comes to making chili. I buy the pouch of seasoning mix, hamburg, tomato paste and whip it up fast. My hubby doesn't care for it too hot, but I do and I add a half can of tomatoes with chili peppers and that spices it up nice. I serve it with sour cream and corn bread. Nummy.

I love making chili, I am going to make it tommorow night myself with some left over ground beef that I have. I like chili with rice or noodles. I posted one of my chili with rice recipes on Gather. If you like you can just leave the rice part out, but this is a good easy chili recipe. Here is the recipe. http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474977815138
