Winning the lottery

If you get a winning ticket in the lottery, how much would you want it to be? Just be realistic for a moment. If you did not win the millions or the major prize, and you just won some money, how much do you want? I always thought that I wanted to win the lottery, but if not the major prize, just enough to pay off some bills, get to travel for a little while, and indulge in a few 'wants'. I think $20,000 is enough. I could get a week vacation to hawaii, pay some of the credit cards, and maybe treat some friends to a party. That's it! I'll be happy!

I would need $40,000 to pay off my student loans, so if the name of the game is to name your price but not be greedy, I'd say $50,000. It would get me out of debt and get me on my feet a bit. That would be enough to get me through this stage of my life and into the next one, which is more than I could hope for.

I have the same feeling! Life would be a little easier if we can pay off our debts. So for a lottery winning that is not too greedy the minimum amount will always be the amount of debt, plus a little extra to celebrate and push you to the next stage in life.

£200,000 that'd be enough to decorate our new house, have a holiday, get a new car and put the rest into a pension fund oh and i suppose i'd better pay my credit cards off

That will still be a major change in your lifestyle. What if 'no change in life-style, but just makes life a little easier'? What is that minimum amount? ...but I see what you're saying, how can you refuse if you get more?
