And They Say Animals Have No Feelings?

She is pregnant, he had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house onto the front lawn, while he continued to fight the fire. When he finally got done, he sat down to catch his breath and get some rest. He saw her walking straight towards the fireman and wondered what she would do. As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies, and kissed him just as the photographer was taking the picture of the two of them together. That was a nice picture and I was taken aback when i saw it. How come some people say animals are stupid where in fact--returning back the favor is sometimes more evident from animals than man. I am no animal nor hate the race of man, i just don't like the idea of some people claiming that animals are stupid. Animals give love without expecting anything in return. I hope people will wake up one day and realize that animals, just like man--are created with feelings. They may be stupid sometimes---and man can be that too.

Very good response. Yes, animals give us the closet thing to true unconditional love that we'll ever find on this earth. I think that God created them to give us just a glimpse of what unconditional love is all about.

I think so too. Maybe HE knew that man can't give unconditional love (at least close to it) so animals were created. They are here so that man can be loved and cared --no questions asked. Perhaps HE knew too that the only thing HIS unconditional love be felt by man is through animals. HE probably thought that man can't give to another man. This is just an opinion so any reaction is almost welcome. By the way, thanks for choosing my response as the best response for this discussion. I appreciate it...

Well whoever said that animals have no feelings is a pretty ignorant idiot. People tend to forget that human beings are in fact animals as well. We are filed under mammals. So saying that animals don't have feelings is like saying humans don't have feelings because humans are animals too.

So true. We sometimes get lost in our "superiority" to the "lesser" animals and lose touch thinking that we are the only ones that can feel.
