Please Help me with this song

Im a total music lover as most people are and i love almost ALL music. sometimes we find theres a song going on in our heads that just wont stop
usually we know what its called,etc. But i have this song that i love that comes to mind almost once every couple of months for a few days. i've tried describing it to different people but no one seems to be able to help around me. but, i've never tried my friends here
that seems to always know what to do or what things are. I cant sing so it doesnt help to sing it to someone. they just look at me like a bug is crawling toward them
and their not sure what to do. So if i could find out what the name of it is or even the musicians name that would work. a young guy sings it and its got loud fast music. the lyrics go like this "HERE comes my Hero!! WAtch him as he goes!!" not even sure what the rest says, but i hear it on tv or the radio sometimes and can never get the name of musicians. So, can anyone help with this? i've done searches on playlist, etc. so that dont work.

I really don't think the artists name is Foo Fighters lyrics, I would leave the word lyrics off. I would include the link but not sure if I am supposed to or not and don't want to get in trouble.

tyc415 is right this song is from foo fighters. A friend of mine used to sing this song a lot but we didnt know the artist. At first I thought he was confused and he was singing hero by nickelback. But a friend then told us it was from Foo Fighters. We were ohhh really. I must say it was at least a year until we knew.

OMG! thats got to be it. thanks so much tyc. dont know why i couldnt find it. yes i thought they were saying hes ordinary, but couldnt figure why. why would someone say a hero is ordinary? i thought i was hearing it wrong.

oh its ok honey. i got what i made the discussion for. only problem is i pulled a newbie trick and forgot to make it a real discussion. i should have asked if anyone else ever had the lyrics but didnt know the title to a song. oh well my bad@sconibear (8016)

hee hee......actually I just got home from being on vacation for 5 days and am in the process of cleaning up my gazillion emails, so I know I'll be a lot later with my response to a lot of other discussions.
BTW Foo Fighters "Everywhere But Home".........AWESOME concert DVD.
