That's been my diet plan during the last few years. I usually eat lean proportions and healthy foods during the week. During the weekend (well, at least on one day), I eat the things that I've been wanting to eat during the week. That way, I don't build a craving for anything. Well, this diet plan has sort of worked for me. I haven't gained any weight since I tried this plan, and in fact, I even managed to shed some pounds. Anyone else tried this crazy diet plan?

I have been trying this new "lifestyle" where I sit down on Sunday and plan out my meals for the next week. I chose 1 day that week where I can go crazy and have whatever I want but only 1 day. It has worked like a charm and makes my life a little easier and more structured. It really does help because during the week while I'm craving something I just remember okay saterday I can have that then when it makes me full I wont have anything to do so I can just be lazy. Its a great plan not crazy.

And it also makes you appreciate the dessert or extra helping a little more.

My husband and I sort of did that once we would diet during the week and cheat on weekends. It worked fine for him but not for me. I would lose a pound during the week then on Monday I would have gained the pound back or sometimes even a pound and a half. So it was like dieting all week just to maintain my weight, while my husband was losing weight like mad. it really frustrated me.
