Why is mylot so popular despite having been in the net for so long? There have been many similar forums like mylot but closed down as fast as they opened. I have been here for more than 3 years and have come across numerous topics being posted here everyday and it seems that mylot never run out of topics. There are always people posting good discussions everyday and never short of people responding to them.
There are instances where I generally run out of steam, my ideas have dwindled to dust and I can barely string two words together. But just don't want to surrender to my unthinking mind. I will stop by in mylot everyday to check out what are the hottest topics in store and I tend to stay one two hours reading others discussions. Sometimes I response but many times don't even bother to response but only read through them. I will only response when I am in a better frame of mind. Do you always come to mylot everyday either to response or start a new discussions? Or it has become a habitual affair to log in here daily regardless whether to response or not to response to any of the discussions? Certainly mylot has a strong magnetic force that draws many to this place. Mylot admin has cushioned a comfortable platform for everyone to share their piece of thinking mind. Why have you stayed this far in mylot?

The variety of discussions on MyLot is what keeps me coming back. While I don't find time to log in everyday, I am usually on at least once or twice a week. So far, I have not come across another forum that has such a diverse group of discussions. Whether you are in the mood to talk politics and be serious, looking for new money-making opportunities, seeking advice on a particular subject, or just want to "chew the fat" on what happened on your favorite TV show last night...there is literally something for everyone here on MyLot. This alone keeps me coming back for more! :)

Quite an apt discussion. I also find that there is no dearth of topics if your are here to respond. When I am in mood to respond, I normally find discussions of my interests either started by my dear friends or other members. I log in for some activities, I do not read discussions for the sake of reading. However, I read responses to those discussions to which I myself have responded. Also, it is great fun and a kind of satisfaction, when dear friends respond to my discussions. I love interacting with them and do not fail to post my comments/counter-comments. I think you and I both have spent nearly 3 years here and the journey is still going on and it will go on, I believe.

Hi dpk, you are one of the most cheerful person I meet in mylot and the time we spend interacting here via discussions has made me feel that I have known you for a long time. The bond of friendship that has been made possible in mylot is something that I treasure most. Hello my friend zandi458 Ji,
I was introduced here by my hubby, who became in-active for some reasons. After I joined, I found very much useful to roam and meet people around the globe without loosing anything. It is very good place to open out and stem out our inner feelings. While one earns, one also learns. I come here everyday to complete my alloted task of responding to all my Alert mails. They are always pending as such I never think of peeping to hot-discussions etc. Even I start my own discussion seldom. I am not having sufficient time. I wish to remain through out. Mylot is like Bristish empire, where sun never sets. It is always alive. It never sleeps.

So nice of you for your lovely comments. may be taht I am not running short of funds, I do not require money, our all desires are full-filled, we also do not have any responsibility, but in your case, I know, you have to settle down all your children in be-fitting manner in the society, we have crossed taht stage. So I enjoy company here. In acse if I have to pass my tome somewhere else, it may become more costlier than here. So i say earn while laern.

I have never heard of my lot closing down.
I have not been here for years but have been here for months and I really love this place everyone is so nice and eager to help and I enjoy helping others and voiceing my opinion or giving my ideas on topics.
I try to come in at least every day to respond to topics that I can relate or talk about.
I usually start a disscussion when I have a topic or question in mind.
I have stayed with mylot because I really like it here. You learn different things from people you help each other exchange ideas and new things.

Hello again Zandi,
I know mylot is popular, but not on every internet community since I've been promoting mylot for quite some time. there are other social network sites more popular than mylot and worse of that is they aren't paying their users. I like it here, not only i tend to earn money but to learn something from other people, words of wisdom that you don't hear in your own country or people around you off-line.
I have stayed here for many reasons, but the discussion and the benefit is the main reason that kept me log-in here almost every day. it ain't bad since this is where my savings and investment on other sites are coming from. i hope mylot does become popular one day, more popular than myspace, or face book.@zandi458 (28102)

Mylot may not be attractive to those who doesn't like to write everyday. We are one special breed of humans who are never tired of using our thinking mind. All like minded people enjoy the discussions and stay put in mylot. Everyday finds us thinking and discussing different topics which gives many of us here full of satisfactions besides of course being paid for doing what we enjoy.

That is the beauty of being in mylot. We get to see others views and being paid for the same. The surprises we get from different opinions from people all over the places is fun to see. The joy of seeing others participating in our discussions give me great satisfaction. Yes, friendship is the greater part of mylotting.
yes we are rich in friends here and I for one am learning alot about differnt cultures too.

That is also one reason why am glued to this place. Mylot is far reaching and it attracts like minded people to come here to interact and am one of those who benefits from mylot networking. I am only rich in friends through mylot platform and it is no small deal. I could never have so many friends in my real life as I have in mylot. I wouldn't have met you if it is not for mylot who has attracted me to this place.

Mylot is some how special. The people here are always able to keep it going, like you said, with a lot of topics and discussions.
And many of the discussions are pretty healthy and... well... clean.
And due to the flexibility of being able to discuss anything, we are not restricted to just a specific topic for discussion. That is why one can always find something to talk or discuss about when in mylot!
And having a trusted payment system that is reliable, it is just sweet!

That is the beauty of mylot and the people who make up mylot. The collective minds of people from all walks of life make it an interesting site. It keeps going because the brains of these brainy people do not seem to be exhausted and new ideas keep flowing in different angles despite having been in existence for a long time, mylot is still keeping its audiences glued to the screen. I am one of those who never seems to be bored with this site. It seems the addiction is hard to cure. Mylot is really a mystery!

The magic of mylot is just special.
Like you said, the people here are never exhausted with topics. This is mainly due to the different walks of life we all come from. And it is really interesting to see things from the perspective of people from different cultures and upbringing.

mylot perfectly! I think it is like a magnet! It has some sort
of magnetic force that seems to draw people in and you just
can't seem to stay away from! I have been here for 14 months
now and even if I'm not really in the mood to respond to
discussions, like tonight in fact, I still get drawn in! And
here I am once again responding! I may not start many discussions,
but I am forever answering them! I feel like I just can't stay
away! There is something very magical about the people here and
they just keep pulling me in! I have so many wonderful friends
here and when I'm in a kind of bad mood like tonight and I come
here and check my emails I just can't resist! Thanks for being
one of those friends that pulls me in!

Thank you for your words. Yes, indeed, even when the clouds turn dark, we still find sunshine in mylot. When I am in mylot I don't realize the clock ticking so fast as most of the time I hope from discussion to discussion, just to read what others write. I enjoy reading others views. There is something in mylot that makes me be here everyday even only for a few minutes.

I came again with time, myLot is not just a discussion but it keeps us thinking. That's the beauty of myLot, interact with people around the world and learn what can be learned. Every word has a meaning of each, and we need to understand. I am glad to be here, with the existence of this site I can learn a lot about anything. And, if I cannot answer one of the discussion I will find a discussion that I can answer.
myLot is simple give feedback or comments and we get paid, but that's not the most important. Most important is the discussion that we make or others make a useful discussion. I like being in heaven, without making mistakes I'll stay here as long as possible. Maybe some of my words are not right, so little by little I have to get over it.

Most of us are here for the same purpose, ie to share views and response to others. I agree with you that mylot keeps our mind active and for that reason I have stayed here longer than any other sites that I have joined. I wish to maintain my activities here as long as this place remain active.

Hi Zandi, although now i never create any thread, but i still always come to read the discussions. I do reply to discussions whenever i have some ideas flowing into my brain. I still find Mylot has a great charm to pull many people as well, myself, to join as their members. Mylot, is just like a big family to me, where we can share happy or sad moment together through writing. So, i think Mylot will still able to stay for a very long time to come. I hope Mylot will always stay and so do i, with it forever...

This is a nice query. Anyway, it seems that we have the same experience, i also check mylot, if I am in the mood to discuss and want to vent out my emotions or opinion. I like question that something that i can relate with and those that will make me laugh.
I don't usually start a discussion for sometimes i do feel that what well i say were already ask. I enjoy answering some posts, some question and posted answer annoys me, while some are very informative and helpful. I admire that the admin pays their member, it's amazing to be in a site that pays you while you enjoy being a member.
Good thing with the admin is that they were able to gather a members that really participate and yes i do agree that there is platform in the way you will answer which would avoid offensive words.
I will stay with mylot as long as this site exist.

Yes, I come to myLot for a few hours every day too. It is a great way to discipline the mind in creative ways. For as I read discussions, I begin to get a feeling for the personality behind each discussion and get thoughts about what I want to say. Sometimes though, I feel that there is some sort of block to knowing what to say, similar to what you experience I suppose.
It is for this reason that I have stayed on myLOt for the past three years. And whilst it exists here on the Internet, I will keep coming on a day-to-day basis. - Derek

I have come in a long time with mylot. But there are times that i forget this place too. Mylot is a comfortable place for me to share ideas, thoughts or even rant. We can share those with our friends,yes, but sometimes there are times that we don't want to share it with our friends, right ?
Mylot is the best way i can find in sharing other people's thought, seeing their perspective views in viewing problems or certain issues. I have quit for sometimes, and when I came back, I always find myself being amusing by most of discussions here. There are many people that have different thought, a thought that I never even think of.
I can became accustomed with mylot a lot. It's became one habit, that i must visit this mylot everyday. If I can't be here for few days, I surely will miss it a lot..LOL. Or maybe it's just me that like to comment some disccusions, and writing about my thought. This is a great place for you to share anything that cross in your mind..

I think you are not alone in sharing the same thoughts about mylot. Most people find this place addictive and being here relieves me of my stress as I can join in the fun with some of those witty discussions and responses. I am so used to this place that going to other places similar to mylot will not make me feel at home. The friends I have here are so nice and that makes me stay here and enjoy their company.

i think its the most impotant that mylot has strict rules and good reputation,so many people have to cheat it carefully ,thus there are more and more good disussions,people like to chat here,they can get money,make frieds,solve some problems,improve english,just like me,i visit mylot everyday,though sometimes i dont give any response,i just read others ,it is really enjoyable.

I recently joined mylot for a weeks already. I have stayed here everyday because there are lot's of active members who will correspond to your posted discussions and there are lot of good discussions which you can relate to your life experience.
