Right, let me try and tell you this story really quickly. This guy called Derren Brown is like, in my opinion, amazing, bit of a David Blaine without the crazy stunts and isn't as dark as Mr Blaine, for those of you who have no clue who he is. Anyway last week he met up with guy, put him in some kind of trance and told him to draw out £5,000 (about $8,000)from the bank, give it to him and he did it. The man had no clue about this and did not recollect ever having met Derren Brown. Anyway on Friday Derren Brown went to a casino and placed a bet on a number at a roulette table with the man's £5,000 claiming that he would win him £175,000 (roughly $280,000). Well the ball went round and the wheel went round and landed in the slot with the number beside the number he chose! The program ended with them telling the man not to worry as they would get his money back for him.

Ha ha ha! Tht was really funny! It nearly nailed the right number! Well, David Blaine did this one time and he was successful! Let's see if Criss Angel is bale to do this trick without embarrassing himself! Hee hee... This made my day! I'm going to watch again..

ii have watched the secrets on Magic too and they explained how David Blaine does it..

I have seen some of the series of the Magicians Secrets but wasn't aware that they had told everyone how David Blaine does his! It won't be a problem for the man to get his money back, £5,000 isn't a lot of money for the tv production or Derren Brown himself but he was so close.

Well the guy didn't have a clue he was put into a trance like state. Derren Brown is pretty amazing though. He predicted all 6 lottery balls the other week, correctly and he did it live!

I really do find him amazing, you should have a look at his other stuff, he has been around for some time now and there is alot of stuff out there about him. Even thoough he screwed up on this one it wasn't by a huge margin and I still think he is great!!

Oh my gosh, that is crazy. How embarrasing for the stunt guy, and how infuriating that would be for the guy whose money he got to take out of his bank. Sounds like he must be a really good effective hypmotist, but that is steeling if you ask me. I certaionly hope they get this guy his money back, I would be really angry if someone violated me like that and got me to do something like that, but I am sure he had the guys permission to hypmotise him.

The guy had no clue he had been hypnotised. There certainly wouldn't have been a problem with him getting his money back, Derren Brown is so popular over here he is probably loaded. I don't look at it as stealing as it was all filmed and done for entertainment value and it was entertaining!

Hi, yes I started watching that but my partner thought it was boring and decided we should watch something else! I wish I had watched it now and let him sulk. I have Virgin so I can watch it on catch up TV I think I will do that tomorow. He did well though picking the one that it landed beside! Wow he did obviously learn the technique he was talking about at the start of the show pretty well! Well Paul from The Real Huslte was right only a machine can do it accuratly!

Aww I'm sorry if I ruined it for you!! I think Derren Brown is really good and I went to see him in the theatre last year. I had to go on my own because I had no one to go with but I am so glad I did. Predicting the lottery numbers was amazing too!

Oh my goodness, I adore Derren Brown! In fact, I'm watching him right now. He is brilliant and the way that he is so open about the fact that all he uses is mind tricks is fantastic I think. He never claims to be something he isn't. He has the ability to stun and captivate millions and long may that continue!
