A lot of people look forward to the autumn season. Some people enjoy watching the leaves change color. Others are eager for their fall baking. More creative people enjoy making autumn crafts to enjoy the season. What kind of autumn crafts do you like to do?

When it comes to crafts, I have neither the talent nor the patience to even attempt to make anything. I do envy those who can though. Any craft I want or need has to be purchaed or I do without. If I could do crafts though, I really like the autumn wreaths that hang on the front doorway, I think they are beautiful. As for baking, alas, that also gets purchased or I do without. My hopeless ineptitude in the kitchen does keep me fairly slim, so I guess it is a good thing.

I hope you enjoy the autumn crafts that you purchase. Sometimes shopping for crafts can be as much fun as making them.

I would like to make my own christmas cards this year. I make birthday cards sometimes, but I don't make christmas cards every year. This year I would like to make them instead of buying them. Next time I visit the shop I am going to buy some stickers, different kinds of paper and other things. I look forward to getting started. I also plan to spend some more time on my paintings. I use pictures from old magazines on my paintings and I have bought a lot of old magazines, so I have plenty of pictures that I want to use. This autumn I hope to spend more time on my paintings.

I don't know that I do anything specifically geared tward autumn. I'd like to do more things but the kids don't respect not touching things that are not theirs nor do they put anything back... wich makes me kinda sad as I'd love to do things with them if it wasn't for the disrespect and wasteful tendancies as I'm not a maid nor do I have the money to replace the things they've wasted.

During the fall and winter months, I like to make dolls made from leaves and straw. The only thing you really need to buy are little rubber bands to hold the doll all together. Its time consuming sometimes, but I find it entertaining and fun.
