Can you believe her waist actually appears to be smaller than her head?

It's the new Ralph Lauren ad. I just saw it. talk about unrealistic expectations. This goes so far beyond air brushing! Ultra thin? Geez, to me this is just nuts. I can see no good reason for this at all. Here take a look. http://shine.yahoo.com/event/fallbeauty/image-of-ultra-thin-ralph-lauren-model-sparks-outrage-521480/

She looks funny.. But I guess way back in the old days it was fashionable to have a slim waist by using corsets . But this photo is pushing the limits..and surpassed ridiculous..

She looks like a scarecrow! LOL Is that even real? Or was it altered through photoshop? Sorry, I didn't bother reading the article. Even if it is real, I don't know how any girl could be that skinny and be healthy. She's all skin and bones! LOL Happy mylotting!

I think they should do away with airbrushing and photochoping the models and actresses..because their flaws is what makes them real woman and we wouldn't be so depressed because we can never look like that what we see in magazines and movies. Let them show us the real them so we can say..hey they aren't perfect..and it just shows they are basically same as us..we see the perfect woman in magazines and other stuff and we put them on a pedestal as something we can never be or be able to acquire.. So maybe showing they aren't perfect would be the best for all of us around so we stop trying so hard to be something we aren't r can never be...well unless we airbrush and do photo chopping..

I cannot believe they focus so much on thin women like that. They have always done that but they have taken it to extremes these days. Alot of women do look nice thin but they do not look good when they are made out to be anorexic. I think it is to extremes also. It looks like one of those toys athat have a wire inside of it and you can adjust the whole body.

in reality, being 'that' thin is ugly. Its only the media that says theyre beautiful. Media is a brainwash and makes people think they are n0t pretty because they are n0t thin.

I read an article about the model today - apparently she had no clue they were photoshopping it that much! The article also said shes 5'10" and 120 pounds and they let her go because she was "overweight"
