How does music make you feel?

This might sound really strange, but I've found that lately when I am feeling stressed, anxious, a bit depressed, sick, or have felt a headache coming on, I have pumped up my music and it's like a magic little pill...I feel better. Is that weird? How does music make you feel? Does it have the same effect on you?

When my mind is so preoccupied and I want to just think of nothing, I listen to music so that it blocks any thoughts that come into my mind. That's how music works on me.

Yes it does block the world out for me too. However, it needs to be the right music for me. Music that isn;t my style just irritates me more :)

Music does have the same effect with me too. I have heard a news report that music does actually have a soothing effect on people and helps them to relax and heal. I enjoy listening to the money when I am down and depressed.

That depends on when I listen to the music and what situation I was in. Music makes me feel like I can't live without them but I don't love it that much as someone does. I am not a crappy follower of music.

Music really has some kind of magic.. I am saying this because in many situations when i am stressed, and hurt by someone, I simply put my hear phones and hear some melody songs in my laptop ,Man that really make me like there was noting happen... and light as a feather...

It doesn't sound strange you are actually right. Music can help you relax and without music a lot of people would not have something to calm their nerves. I use music to help me calm down and overcome stress at times. It really depends on what is playing though. The music should be good of course, if it is not I would most likely get a headache. Smooth Jazz is my biggest comfort zone :)
