Do comments count when mylotting?

I have noticed that when I leave a comment under another members post that my post number stays the same....do we not get credit for this? It isn't that big of a deal, I will still post like this but I just recently noticed this. Has anyone else noticed this?

You'll get two post credits when you make a comment to the origional post AND a comment on another persons post in the same discussion. If you just comment on someone elses comment, you'll not get a post credit for that. At least, that's my understanding. However, the earnings take into account your total activity, so the more comments you make the more your earnings will be.

Perfect! Especially the bit about 'the more comments you make the more your earnings will be' It makes no difference whether our number increases or not, we will still earn for everything we post (unless it is of poor quality content or is deleted of course). Happy Lotting!

direct comments dude! always comment directly, you don't see an increase when you comment on someone else' comment.

You don't see an increase in numbers but you definately see an increase in earnings - and it's those that count surely?

I mostly do post directly but there are times (like this one in fact) where I wanted to reply to a certain persons response and not to the main discussion.

Yes when we respond to others questions we get paid for it. In fact that is where most of my earning on here come from. You should notice a small rise every day for each question that you answer the specific amount is not known and I won't say what I think it because I think that is a violation but yes we do get paid for responding to other questions.

We earn from both but responding several times in the same discussion won't increase your number to the right of the name :)

I don't think so. I don't think our earnings increase any from adding these comments. I think it's a common courtesy and a nice thing to do for your myLot fellow-members, but I don't think it's 100% necessary in making more money on MyLoT. Then again, I'm not totally sure.

You do get credit for any of your comments, howeer, since you are commenting to responses in the discussions you start, then your number won't increase. It is to your advantage to keep commenting on responses, as that is the way you earn, as you only earn from your own activity, and not the acivity of others. Make sure when you comment, that they are quality, as just one line or a few words won't give you much if anything a tall. I hope that this helps. Good luck to you and hapy mylotting.

yes I too observed that comments are never increasing the responds line number. But may be some twist will be there related to earnings. Our comments may give good revenue to the persona who started discussion. Really I dont know how does it works, its just my prediction.

Even we get paid for doing comment on others comment but the numbers won't go up. But if you started a discussion or comment directly to others query means our rating will increase.

I've just recently started using Mylot. I've been wondering things like this. Like what do I need to do to earn money? Just post discussions and respond to others?
