Designated yard chores?

This photo shows my wife mowing the back yard. She had finished the front then went right to work in back. It seems I am the one that does the flower beds, and gardening chores and weed trimming. She does the housplants and mowing most times. This afternoon we did a lot getting ready for a 2 to 3 inch snowfall overnight. Do you and your spouse/family have designated chores each does as far as yard work goes? Seems photos have not been uploading so if this one doesn't I'll add it to a response in the future. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Yeah, he does the yard chores and I don't! :-) Seriously, he does most of the heavy stuff, I plant flowers.

Yes, we had designated outdoor chores--I did it all! Although I didn't really do anything this year to get the yard ready for winter, when I lived in the Southwest there was no winter, really, so no preparation needed. I think I'm catching up to you with the snow, we got 4" last night and I think there will be another inch today.

This year the yard work did not seem to get done at all. I was working too much, and hubby just does not see it to do it. He is great about taking care of the cars and balancing the checkbooks, but other stuff he needs to have me around to motivate him. It isn't that he does not want to do it, it just does not occur to him to do it.If I am home doing it, he joins right in. We must be team workers.
