There are a lot of news and issues discussed in the news, but what has the biggest impact on you today? My biggest issue is the calamity problems in the country today, I'm scheduled to go to Manila first week of November and I don't know whether the plan should push through or not because of the typhoons.

Oh, tough one. I doubt it's in our generation when we'll see Poverty-free and Corruption-free countries. But it would be a nice start.

I am not that familiar with your national issues, but there seems to be a common thread around the world between those who would "open people's eyes" and those who would close them; those who would build and create hope and those who would foster a smaller 'pie' for those who need more. Whatever the issue, maybe you could frame it in fostering light and hope and on the other side things that would not. We are only "here" for a short time, promoting hope is never out of style. The biggest impact on me today is fostering a sense of power and hope among those who feel beaten down or 'less than' their neighbor, whether it is economic development or health insurance reform or cleaning up our rivers. Thanks for the opportunity to answer this - - my best to you and your country.

I don’t feel safe in my life. I always worry one day there is a war in my country. Now I moved to the UK I still worry one day UK would be attacked by other countries or by terrorists. Here the news talk about terrorism every day. It seems they are just around here, but I never see any one. My husband always said the country is very safe. However I always avoid going out in late night. Here I totally have no night life. I’m foreigner here and I’m obvious to separate from the locals.
