Have you ever started a diary or journal? If so, what are some of the thoughts that you have jotted down?

I have a journal/diary. I write about interesting occurrences and my thoughts about various things. I also rant when something aggravates me.

Isn't is fun to look back over your diary to remember what ticked you off or tickled your funny bone? I enjoy re-reading information that I have put down on paper. Sometimes its not such a great idea to re-read though, sometimes I get upset all over again. Thank you for you input & value your opinions!

I started an online journal a long time ago that I jotted down my thoughts of the moment in, but unfortunately it has been neglected for the past 4 months.

Thanks for your reply. Doesn't it relieve stress when you write your thoughts, aggravations, emotions, ect. down. I know it does for me. Thanks for giving your input in my discussion. All opinions are valued.

Diary - Journal of everyday thoughts.
Hello Crabby1, Even if you are not calling it a journal or diary, at least you are putting some of your life down in writing. Which is the important part. I was keeping a journal of sorts pertaining to my step-daughter, which helped us gain custody. You never know when it will come in handy. Thanks for the reply.

I agree that diaries are personal and intimate details should not be divulged. Thank you for your reply.

Isn't it nice to reflect on our life and see where we could have changed things or handled certain situations better. Thanks for your reply

Diary - Journal of personal everyday thoughts.
Butterpecan, I am glad that you have a perfect memory. Us old folks need to write notes to go pick up bread and milk. Your mind might now always be this sharp, you should write somethings down.
