What would you take on a journey back in time?

[b]If you HAD a time machine...& you went back in time...what would you pack?
Here's my list of things I'd never want to be without:
* plenty of toilet paper (laugh all you like, you KNOW you'd miss it! 
)
* a first aid kit (with some basic meds such as aspirin & diarrhea pills)
* prayer book, rosary & bible
* a week's change of clothes--one for winter, one for summer
* a camera & loads of film
* a thick sketchbook & artist's materials
* raw silver & gold
* a super sharp knife & a whetstone (& a rifle)
* plenty of salt, pepper & chili powder
* depending on the era, appropriate, useful items with which to barter
* milled soap
* umbrella / raincoat & plastic hat, plus rain boots
* a strong magnet, a compass, & a large magnifying glass
* lots of waxed kitchen matches & a flint stone
* a durable mess kit & a canteen
* and lest I ignore some good advice from "Hitchhiker's Guide"--a huge beach towel
I'm sure I could think up lots more, but my time machine isn't like Doctor Who's (i.e., bigger on the inside than it is on the out), so I couldn't possibly take all I'd like to have!

I would pack my hairdryer, and tongs.
All of my lotions and potions.
My kids...
My dog,
My husband,
My computer..
My Knorr seasoning (i have it on everything)
My microwasve,
My dishwasher,
Crockery,
Towels,
My mobile phone,
The list could be endless, but i would need a huge!! time machine..

[b]You certainly would! You'd almost need the Doctor's T.A.R.D.I.S to lug all that around! But I love that you want your family along. I'd take Elic, my bff & helper, if I had one of any size!
When you camp out (assuming you do, do you have everything including the kitchen sink, too? In a Winnebago? Sounds as if you'd need one!
One more thing, whom would you call in the past??
