Let's Talk Toppings

I really like my ice cream plain, without toppings unless I visit my favorite ice cream shop and then I like to get a sundae with cherry cordial ice cream, hot fudge topping, whipped cream and a cherry on top.
So, I'd like to know what toppings other people like to enjoy on their ice cream. Tell me what you like, or do you never have toppings on your ice cream and always enjoy it plain?

Most of the time I eat my ice cream plain as well. But I like to get ice cream where ingrediants is already mixed in. Occasionally i like to add whip cream, cherries or carmel to the top of my ice cream. but not very often.

We have a Maggie Moos not too far from our home and if we are in town and decide to go to an ice cream shop for our ice cream that is where I like to go because they mix it all together. They have this one combination flavor that is cookie dough, twix and caramel all mixed together that I really like.

Suddenly I craved Ice cream while reading your discussion. Lol!
Well, I eat ice cream even without toppings because I am too lazy to look for toppings when eating ice cream, so I just eat it plainly, but my favorite is always be "Buko Salad" a special flavor available only in the Philippines, buko is the meat of a young coconut which is abundant in the Philippines. I don't like chocolate flavor because I won't eat chocolates. Have a nice day!

Oh, I love coconuts. I wish that there was a way that it could be shipped to me so that I could give it a try. Did you fulfill your desire for ice cream?

If I'm having something like chocolate or similar I melt some peanut butter in the bowl before I put in my ice cream. The kinds with fruit I'd rather eat plain although your cherry cordial ice cream with the fudge topping sounds like it would taste like a candy we have in my area called Cherry Mash. I might have to try that as I'm a big Cherry Mash fan.

Believe it or not, I've never had peanut butter on my ice cream, but I have had peanut butter milkshakes. They are so good, but I'd never thought of putting peanut butter on my ice cream. I may have to try that one day.

I don't have any toppings when I am at home either, every once in a while we will get that hardening shell stuff because the kids like that and it is not bad.
Like you when I go out though I like to have full Sundae thing with the hot fudge, the whipped cream, and some chopped nuts and a cherry. Gotta love it. I like banana splits I like the mix of the chocolate the strawberry and pinapple with the nuts and whipped cream.

We went out to eat about a month and a half ago to Culvers and the kids meals came with a small ice cream so my husband and I decided to get an ice cream as well. I ended up with a banana split and it was so very good. Now, I've got my mouth watering with wanting one again.

I often eat my ice-cream plain. I feel that I savor and enjoy the flavor of the ice-cream best when it is eaten plain. Once in a while, I take a hot fudge topping or a dollop of whipped cream but only on chocolate and vanilla ice-cream.

An ice cream purist you are. I am often very much the same way. Like I said, my sundae is a rare treat.
