My passion is gardening and all my spare time is spent there. Do tell me all about what you grow.

I love gardening, the plants growing now in our garden are fruit baring plants, we have guavas and avocados, we even have seasonings which is chilli, bell pepper, and limes... I really wanted to plant next time the flowing plants to add color to our garden... We have a flowering plant their but just one kind, it has a color pink flower and is known for us to call it Mintang... My daughter picks up the flowers sometime for she doesn't understand it's beauty much because she is still 1 year old. Hope when she gets older and learn its value I could already plant more flowers.

I just got into gardening last year. Mostly flowers, but I plan to do a few fruits (strawberries and blackberries) next year. Even though autumn just barely started, I'm already planning next year's garden. Not only is it beautiful to see, it's also good exercise. I'm mildly disabled, so even just raking or hoeing can get me worked up. So I do a little section of the garden each day, and it takes me about a whole week just to get a few meters ready for planting. At first I did weeding myself, but that's kind of boring (not hard work, though, if you keep up on it), so now I use mulch. Of course, I still have to get out there every day to water, deadhead, and do other general maintenance. As I have no job or school, this is what I do to keep busy in the summer!

Good morning...and welcome to myLot, allknowing! I don't know whether you have read the guidelines, or not, but just for ease, there is a category:Gardening, and you do earn MORE money on your discussions if they have more content; suggested is 5 lines! Gardening is also a passion of mine, at one point I owned a Nursery, but now I just grow to eat! Each year, I have a complete garden in order to put food by for the winter, too! There is something about home grown, that no commercial fruit/veggie can ever touch in flavour & freshness! I am in Zone 7a, so nearly all crops grow! Course, I love flowers, too...but I never let them take up precious garden soil, needed for food! Have a great day...and Cheers!
