At my last call center we would hire unexperienced call center employees at 12.00 per hour USD. What is your earnings in USD? But an experienced call center employee can make up to 50,000 in my world.

I always consider working in a call center i know someone who is but hes telling me hes not being payed the way he deserves to be payed. Maybe that will be depending on the company that your working with, there are good ones and there are those who are not, we can just hope for the best for everybody ;) And for as long as your working legally i dont think theres nothin to worry at all

For starters, I guess it is normal to have a lower salary than yours. But as time goes by or later in your work, you are given a salary increase and that's will make your earning higher. http://takingyouforward.com is a call center company I've worked with and giving employees the right privileges they want to attain.

That is a very nice salary. I also work in India as Technical Support Executive and am getting only Rs. 13,000 Salary. Most of the Call Center in India will have the starting Salary of Rs. 10,000 for international Process and the Salary of Rs. 6,000 for domestic process. May I know the process you're working for cause I've never came across any call center that pays Rs. 30,000.

What are you saying? Well no one at an agent level will get a that salary unless you are getting a high incentive structure. Well it's great to know that man, keep it up. As a TL I'm getting the salary of what you are getting, without including incentives. Happy Lotting

i guess its depends to the company, your experience and your account. some offer big with a lot of benefits while other are few. sometimes they get big salary coz they are more experience than the newbie or their position is technical support which is more higher than those as ordinary customer representative. and if the account they handle is more well know then they offer bigger than those that are not.

I'm still thinking about trying it out working in a call center, and so I really don't have any idea how much should a starter like me should get. I have no call center experience though.

The pay at this level depends on various factors. First which brand do you work for. If it is an American company it will pay an above average salary. If it is an Indian company the pay will be less. Then again, it will depend on the type of process you work for. If it is a sales or a collections process in some cases the incentives are sometimes more than the salary. Lastly, some call centers that do specialized type of work pay high salaries for niche work.
