Hi Bart, I have sent friend invitations to people who responded to my discussions, people whose discussions I have enjoyed, and some people who just looked interesting to me. I have received friend requests from people who have never responded to me, but usually end up interacting with them eventually. I accept all requests once I have checked their profile and know that they are not just spammers or people looking to make a quick buck. After all, even your best friends were strangers before you met them, right?

If the person has the same interests as i do then i will try to add them as a friend as that way it is alot easier to find their discussions that they have started.

Yes, I do that to those who respond great on my discussions. Although I must admit that lots of my friends here, most of them are just invites. I do accept them since we are all here to socialize. There is no harm in making friendship here.
