I'm curious since I've had mine for awhile.

I seem to buy pillows like twice a year.. I get the fairly cheap ones.. but it seems somehow my dogs or cats always help in shortening the life of the pillows I get to wash them a few times. but often they have a hole or 2 put in them and sometimes i just feel safer buying all new fresh CLEAN pillows. I think it helps for my allergies having new ones.

Well, my pillow is still good. For 2 years of use it did not even have any damage just like new.

It is an interesting question. When I lived with my parents I never cared about chaning pillows because my mom only taken care of all house related issues. When I lived with my husband we used the same pillows for one year. After that we shifted the house. So, we gave those pillows to poor people and they happily took it. I think we need to change pillows once in three of four years. What do you say?

our pillows had been with us for years, lol. yes and they are still serving the purpose and are still good. we change pillow cases regularly each week. we don't have little babies anymore who make pillows dirty. we air our pillows once in a while. as long as our pillows are still good and clean, we do not find the need to get new ones.

I have mine for awhile already even. I don't buy pillows anymore since I have already enough and extra ones for the visitors. I don't think you need to change your pillows if it is still a good one. But just always change your pillow cases. For me I change pillow cases every after three days or sometimes during busy days I see to it I change my bed sheets and pillow cases every week, like every Saturdays.

That's a really good question there. Hmmmm, it's been like two years or so since I last bought a pillow replacement in our house. As long as the pillows are clean and comfortable to sleep on, we don't replace it. I noticed if you buy high quality pillows like posturepedic ones it's gonna take longer for you to replace them. Although I'd like to disclose that this is just our manner in the house and I don't know if there should be a timeframe to get a pillow change medicalwise.
