What was the last fun thing you did? Can you remember? It could be anything from just going to the park to remodeling your garage.. Different strokes for different folks. Besides my vacation which ended 3 weeks ago already I've been working a lot. But I had a 3 day weekend last week so on Monday I went to the 99cent store and bought all kinds of stuff that I usually wouldn't buy at a regular store.. Then I went out again and bought stuff to make Spaghetti. Since My honey cooks all the time and I'm at work I hardly ever get to cook anymore. I made the best Spaghetti and Garlic Bread in the Slow cooker. To me that was a fun day of just doing little stuff that I usually don't get to do. What did you do for fun?

Well, the last fun thing that me and my family did was just stayed inside the room singing our favorite songs together, story-telling and tickling each other-- and this happened during the typhoon when we experienced power interruption. Great time for family bonding! Have a great weekend!

I never been in a big storm were all the power goes out and you stuck inside. You have to entertain yourselves by playing games together.

It's okay to play games when it's brown out but games must be simple and does not requires big movements. What we have is only candle to light us and it will not be safe to play inside the house when it's brownout. That's why even if we want to we just content ourselves with storytelling and singing songs together.

Last weekend me and my b/f went out to eat and then drove through the mountains to see the change of color in the trees. We went to a huge flea market and just walked around and talked about things that we saw. I bought a hoodie for my dog but that was about it..lol.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I love going to flea markets and yard sales but since I don't have a car I can never get anything big. I like it that you bought something for your dog, lucky dog

Hi missybear Good to hear from you. Are you doing okay? I guess you would have to say that it is me getting ready to move out of this camper into a trailer. Im so excited to get started. By the way...You said that you fix spaghetti in the slow cooker. Can I bother you by asking how do you do that. That sounds like something I could do myself. Would you care to share with me. Thanks.

Hi rosepedal64, Thanks for responding. I just fry up my hamburger and Italian sausage along with onions, garlic , mushrooms and peppers till the burger is browned. Then I throw it all into the slow cooker and add tomato paste and diced or crushed tomatoes. Hunt's Spaghetti sauce is pretty good too. Add lots of spices like Italian seasoning, Oregano, more Garlic and whatever you like. Then I cook it on low for about 3 to 4 hours. Yummy. Enjoy

Oh Missybear..That sounds so good.. I will have to try that. I fix speghetti sauce but I usually just use Hunts and fry some hamburger into it. I will give yours a try when I get moved. I will be cooking all kinds of things when I move. I have a big kitchen at the new place. Keep smiling and thanks for sharing...

Two weekends ago, I tried canoe racing. It was the first time that I did it, and I was just an alternate for a team of lady paddlers. Surprisingly, I found it fun! I did 2 and half races. The second race we did was called off because one of the canoes tipped over. The 2 other races we finished absolutely last both times. Still, I paddled away until my shoulders felt like lead and I couldn't paddle anymore. It was fun.

Hello Missybear, I'm an indoor, laidback kind of person, so a perfect day of fun for me happened a couple of weeks ago. It was snowing lightly, pretty surprising this early in the year, so I decided to head over to my favorite bookstore, get a cup of coffee from their cafe, and read a good book while watching the snow fall from a window. It was very relaxing, and just what I needed to recharge my batteries after a tough week of classes.

Good for you. I love it when it snows but I don't like the cold. Can't have one without the other though.

Well unfortunately we're not having a very fun week here. Monday I took my son to the doctors (pneumonia). Tuesday I went back to the doctor's office for my daughter (ear infection) and today I took myself to my doctor's (sinus infection). Needless to say my husband and I are supposed to go to a Halloween party tomorrow night. Hopefully I'll feel up to it. I could use some fun right about now.
