If you only have 24 hours left to live, what would you do?

I think I'll ask thank you for those people who have touch my life in any way and as well ask for forgiveness for those that I have hurt intentionally or unintentionally. Then I will spend the rest of it with my love ones. Feeling the moment, the happiness, the togetherness and the love for one another. I will spend it happily with no regrets and maximizing every single second I have left.

Yah you're absolutely right. We never be selfish of what we have especially if we don't need it that much and knowing that there is somebody out there who needs it more badly than you are. I hope many people will realize this even before they die. So that we can still experience peace and love on earth. Thank you ;-)

Hi V, I will spend the rest of the 24-hours with my family. I will make my last day extra special for them. I will decorate the house, i will cook for them, will ask an official photographer to take our picture and even video-taped it, i will sing songs for them that they can record just incase they will miss me they'll have the chance to still listen to my voice through songs, i will make them happy, give them hugs and kisses and asssure them of my everlasting love. I will request for a priest for a confession/extreme unction and give myself an hour for reflection to spiritually transcend to people that i've hurt and apologize for all my mistakes and shortcomings. My 24-hour will end with a mass... a thanksgiving mass for a very meaningful life with my family, relatives and friends. Then my final kiss, hug and i love you for my husband and kids.

Family does really matter! This is where you can find such inspiration even at your last day. May the entire nation have the burning fire of love as you have. So that we will peacefully live on earth. For there is still hope as long as we have people like you who still live. Love to live and live to love. God Bless. ;-)

I think I would rob a bank. It sounds odd, but I have always been fascinated with bank robbers, the adrenalin rush and your heart pounding while your getting money from a bank that busily robs it's customers. Shoot, the legal system wouldn't have a chance to sentence me to life in prison. I also would pig out on dark chocolate. Heck of a combination isn't it?

Lol! how bout that? Its cool of you doing that but I think it will not be the best thing yo can do on your last day. You can spend it better. Though your still in charge on your own life while you still have the choice.

I have spent my life doing what others wanted me to do, and staying within the law. It is just one of those things that would capture my deepest desires and something I would want to do. Besides I would make sure that all the money went to charity. What a way to go... My daughter and her husband figure that they will get my "estate" when I cash in, and they will be in for a surprise. So what the heck....I'd rob the bank, having written the note on a dark chocolate bar wrapper, giving the customers dark chocolate candy, and planting a huge chocolaty kiss on the guard...

I would go to Laddakh quietly, without saying anybody. I have control over all my desires except for love for my Mother. So, I won't let her know anything about that. I will die lonely in peaceful atmosphere of Laddakh.

Why choose to die alone? Why not die while with your loveones? Are not that close to them? Or better choose it so they will not be hurt? Im just curious why. Thank you.

First of all i will pray hard to ask for forgiveness and to all my friends especially to my family member. Next i will spend my hours left with my husband and make him sooooooo happy...I will let him feel how sorry i am for all the shortcomings i have done to him. i love my husband so much....

Thank you normita. Thats right asking forgiveness is one of the best things to do as well. We know that as humans we might be unreasonable sometimes and hurt someone but as long as we know that we are not suppose to do that we can still say that change would still be possible. Forgiveness is absolutely the key to peace and harmony.

That's how most people will do. And that's not a surprise. For we know that they are the best thing that we can do.

In reality, the next second is all the life we are guaranteed. Anything could happen at any time to end this life. Every day countless people die without warning. If I knew I had 24 hours to live - or 1 hour - or 1 minute - I would not change the way I live. My motto here on myLot is "So live, that when you come to die, you have nothing left to do, but die" and this is the way I try to live. It isn't difficult. In fact, it is the opposite and brings peace and contentment.

If I were to die in 24 hours I would first go straight to my girlfriends house and ask her to be with me the rest of the 24 hours. While with her, I'd go visit family and friends. For the longest time, I've wanted to go skydiving or base jumping, so that is the next thing I'd do. And then last, I'd go for a run. That is a tough question, because I feel as though I haven't done everything I have wanted yet. :/

I think that I will also be doing the same things as you. But I will also try to make thing right so my family wont have to worry after I am gone about what to do with my body. It is something sad to imagine to just have one day to do so many things and be able to be with all of our loved ones since they do not live in the same states.

Thats cool. Instructing them what to do while you're still able so that they wont have a problem when that moment comes. Thats practicality and I think most people would understand why doing it. Yah thats sad when you dont have your inspiration right in the doorstep. So while we still have time better to spend it with our loveones once in a while.

My last 24 hours on earth will definitely be spent with my family, my husband, kids, parents, brothers and sisters. I will gather them all, make the best of every second. I will give them my last hugs. I will make them laugh the last time for they won't be hearing my funny jokes anymore. And since, time is of essence, I will just send all other people that I know a group message (thru mobile phone) and say goodbye to them. I will say my final thank you. I will send them a text joke telling them I will be waiting for them and hope it is soon. I will leave my kids my usual nags about things they should do and should not because it will be the last time I can ever tell them. I might ask them to record everything I have to say. I will comfort them by telling them I will just go ahead of them but will be there to meet them when their times come and that I will be there everyday of their lives to guide them.

That's perfect! I absolutely agree with. I guess this is the best thing that we can do while we are still capable doing it. And while we still have time we better start spending it with them so that we can still treasure a lot of special memories with them.

I think I would spend the last 24 hours of my life watching Star Trek The Next Generation with any of my loved ones that would care to watch it with me. Seriously. Star Trek is such a peaceful series and it's funny and makes me feel happy . Especially that last episode, that was great. All good things must come to an end, right? . . .
