I don't. but i like to read poems though specially though that sounds really well with good meanings specially when i can identify with what is written on that poem. but sometimes i wish i am good in writing poem to express my thoughts in more poetic way but it is just too hard to learn how to write a good poem. it takes a lot of creativity which is not in me. i know we can develop our skills but some people are just born good at it i guess or are able to develop it more when they have this inborn talent within in them. and i don't have the patience to put more time to learn it to write well and so i gave up on that one. when i like to express my pent up feelings i just don't do it in writing. i just do it in other ways. like talking it out with a friend or any one who i can talk to.

When I was still studying, I was really good in writing poems, specially those that are heart breaking and just full of pain. hehehe. But now, it seems like I can't write anymore, no matter how hard I try.. I need to have a good inspiration, to write one good poem.. The last time I wrote a poem, it was our 3rd anniversary, and I don't have any money to buy a good gift so I wrote my BF a poem.. hehehe.

Hi Ms HS, I love reading and writing poems. I have several collections of my personal poems and those that my husband wrote for me. Poems are significant to me. My husband proposed to me through poem. Poem was one of his medium in expressing his love for me. Very powerful, intense and full of love. So sweet right?! I exerted effort to do the same too and he appreciated my masterpieces too.

i like to collect poems too but i have not started yet. it is hard to find a good poem that i will like and when i see one i don't keep a copy. i should start doing it now. but i don't see myself making my own poem, if i do i may start writing about some simple topics, those easy to talk about but it may sound like a crap though.

Hello hotsummer. When I was in grade school til high school I used to write some poems and lyrics. They we're great not only for myself but others also appreciated it. But when I entered college I got totally busy and forget about writing poems or lyrics to songs. When I tried to scan my old works I find so cheesy and corny. Lol. Since that day I never wrote a single poem again. But I think I can still make one if I'll try but I'll make sure it won't be as cheesy as before. :p shadow41

oh, so you find those poem you wrote before as corny. ha ha. but you had good start there. you may now write better poem as you have more knowledge and quite broader things to talk about than when you were young.

A lot of people forget that a poem can be anything. It doesn't need rhyme or structure, it is merely a trip into your heart and soul through words. I would suggest only doing this at first, write down all your thoughts and feelings, not worrying about structure or rhyme and just get used to writing. Then go back and if you want to you can kinda, form it up.

I am not much of a poet. I prefer writing stories. My little sister writes poems. She is only 8 years old but even sometimes I do not understand the depth of her words. Whenever she writes a poem, she shows it to me first. I love her poems.

Hello, I love to write poetry, whenever I'm in the mood to do so, I think writting poems is very relaxing even if they don't rhyme, but for some reason when I write my poems, I have to make everything rhyme and it actually makes sence surprisingly. I have also thought about making a book of short poems, maybe one day I will be able to get that accomplished. Happy My Lotting!

Yes, I do like writing poems! But with that I don't say that I am good at it. Haha. I love writing, even though I don't usually come up with something grand like others. I look up to people who are very good at writing poetry, and I wish I could be like that too. I practice but I am very shy to share my works to others.

In my youth, specially in college life, at times i wrote. I have never shown those to anybody. The main characters of those poems were generally our neighbour girls or classmate girls. ha ha..

I like writing, but I seldom write poem. I just write some articles about routine life. I did write a poem for complaning my mum in my middle school, can't believe I recalled this thing, it's so funny! I was rewarded twice for my articles in the contest of writing,it's so encouraging! I think maybe writing poem emphasizes in beautiful format and metre, which is a little bit difficult to me. Anyhow, a man who can write poem is romantic and gifted.

Personally, I've never written a very good poem, but I do like to read them occasionally. I'm going through a difficult situation with a long-distance relationship at the moment, and sometimes it's nice to read some poetry and see that someone feels the same way that I do. I'm with you on wishing that I could write poetry. It doesn't feel quite the same to say something in plain language as it does to make somebody feel what you're trying to get across.

Before I like to write poems. But since I was studying I write less and less until I don't write anymore. Writing poem is a good way of releasing what you feel inside. It's a way also to show your emotions.

Yes!I like to write poems and I have written some.Poems are good in expressing our feelings in a sharp way. While conversations fails to convey the right meaning, poems can be precise.Yes,creativity is one thing we need but sometimes, poems just flow out and we can't control writing it down.Cheers!

Yes, I do. However, I must have a reason to write one, so it's not really a hobby. I write poems to express extreme anger, disappointment and most of all, romance for a person I love. Check out my website in my personal profile. There's a link to some of my recent poems. To be good in poem, you need to be able to be creative and it is mandatory to possess a good command of the language (any language you speak). Happy reading. :)

yeah, good command of the language is very important. i am not really good yet in english so it is quite difficult to start making poem as a hobby. i will try to check out your poems.
