what is your typical monday morning?

Today is Monday. Do you get that feeling of laziness? A long, long time ago, that's my every Monday mornings. That was the time when I still live at Paranaque. And I go at work at Quezon City. Its like my body is heavy and waking up so early in the morning is impossible. That was five years ago. Now, I get up early and I am excited to go at work. I have inspirations. I have sidelines to face. And I feel now that time is really gold. Wasting time is not really an option. What do you feel on Mondays? Guys, please reply. Thank you and happy mylotting!

Right! You don't have to wake up early in the morning. There are times that you feel lazy and you just don't want to rise from your bed. Good for you, you don't have to fight with "sleepiness".

I work nights mostly, right up till morning, so a typical Monday morning would be the aftermath of working from night and I just have to finish up some work and then I could call it a day. And usually in the morning, I have some free time too, and that's when I do mylot for quite a bit..

Hi zed_k4: interesting day. That's not a typica schedule weekend even if i have to admit that, in my vacations i don't sleep until 1:00 am so you can imagine, my day don't begin until eleven in the morning in those beautiful days.

If I have a lot of things that I want to get done, I look forward to Monday morning as well. Sometimes I get actually get anxious on Sunday to start my day on Monday. I used to have to be awakened by an alarm clock. But, anymore, it is like I have an alarm clock in my head. It was a gradual thing that I didn't really learn, but just became accustomed to. For a while, I would set the alarm, and usually wake up a couple of minutes before it went off. But now, I don't even use an alarm anymore. I just think about what time I want to wake up in the morning, and it is like my body knows it and just wakes up. Funny how things change after you get older, isn't it.

The same thing happens to me. I wake up minutes before the time I set in my alarm clock. Its weird. Makes you wonder how does our body do that.

Yes Monday brings laziness with itself,as we have full two days of fun and relax.but there is excitement too,to start a new day ,a new task.I always think that many days of relax can only harm the individual caliber. So its better to work and make most of your time .

I own a business where I sell stuff on line, and because there is no mail on Sundays Mondays are usually pretty busy for me in the morning as I usually have extra orders to pull, package up and send out. Plus I have three kids that need to get ready for school, and lunches to pack for the kids and my husband. Monday mornings are crazy for me.

hello ethanonthemoon! .. well, monday for me is the busiest day of the week in terms of work loads. we usually have a mancom meetings mondays and really, my boss is up and kicking every monday morning. and really EARLY monday mornings. its the usual day of the week that she would call me up, innumerate things to do, not just for the day but the the entire week. i don't know but on mondays, the people at my work are usually energetic and people are emailing follow-ups, calling in requests, and all. it seems that its a chain reaction!. personally, i hate sunday evenings because that means its going to be monday already when i wake up and i do not want to go to work. he he he.

Its weekend already here in the Philippines. It is a long weekend. But there is a typhoon trudging Luzon. Anyways, if you are in the Philippines, there won't be any "typical Monday morning" this coming Monday. It is a declared special non-working holiday due to All Saints' Day and All Souls Day.

A typical Monday morning for me is very refreshing since I just came from a two days off so I am ready to face the days’ challenges as to waking up early to prepare my kids for school (give them a bath, prepare breakfast for them, join them over breakfast, prepare their packed snacks), prepare myself for work and enjoy Monday’s traffic along Edsa.

Do you commute msfrancisco9369? Do you ride in a cab? Bus? MRT? Where do you work? EDSA is an inferno when MRT was not yet built. I have a blog entry way back that says when you ride a bus from Magallanes, by the time you reach your destination, you'd get wings already. You'd be mutated into a bird-like creature because you want to fly instead of being stuck in that span of road to hell. Hehehe.

That's true. I once enjoy taking a ride in MRT. That was when they did not yet designated the first car for females, children and for the elderly. I used to ride the first car. I can still sit comfortably then. Then they separated men. You are right when you say that it is stressing now to ride MRT. It is crowded now, specially the cars where they put us, men. Hehehe. Anyways, I have not ridden MRT for a long time now. I am riding a cab also.

I am a commuter. I take the cab everyday and Edsa is the way. I already accepted this fact-- i don't want to stress myself too much because of the terrible traffic. So, i just leave the house early so that i will avoid the heavy traffic in going to Mandaluyong from Quezon City. I hate taking the LRT/MRT... so crowded. The moment to get down from the train, you're so harassed and haggard. How i wish i have the wings to fly and reach my destination early/on time without any hassle. LOL.

How many computers do you have in your shop, regina36? So, you have your own business. Your time is really free. You don't have a fix 9-6 working hours per day.

My typical monday morning is the alarm bugs me at 5am in the morning and i continue to say 5 more minutes until i see the clock saying its 5:33am. I get up and fix my clothes for school and ofcourse go straight to the bathroom. I turn the player on to keep me awake. Then i ate my breakfast and head of to school. Maybe your wondering why i get up so early. Actually, i spend 30 minutes bathing and 45 minutes dressing up. I'm a girl ok? But there are chances that i don't have classes on monday. During those times, i stay in bed until 7 or 8 am. I know its still early but I'm more of a morning person than a night person.

When I was still in school, I also wake up early in the morning. As early as four in the morning. My aunt is also awake and she will prepare breakfast for us. That was more than ten years ago. How time flies.

i had a hard time getting up and knowing i had a long, hard week ahead of me again. but what can you do? i have to do what i have to do. people are depending on me to take care of them and all the things i always take care of. so i am up and getting ready for my day and just trying to pace myself. it is always the same no matter how hard i work the day before. i always have just as much to do the next day.

My typical monday morning is wake up early prepare myself to take a bath, eat my breakfast and go straight to work. Monday is very tiring because I am used to the long weekends that it feels it is tiring to report on monday, but I have to get on with it and do the usual routine.

Yeah. Specially when you had fun the weekend before. You'll feel very lazy for the first day of the work week.

A typical Monday morning starts with getting up at 4 AM, then followed by my ritualistic nagging. My kids won't move if I don't nag them every morning. So, my typical morning dialogue goes like this: " Hey, it's almost 5. Wake up or the school service will leave you. Take your shower now. Eat your breakfast. Here are your handkies. Do you have your wallets? Where are your IDs?" That's how Monday would start. And it's the same throughout the week.

Hehehe. So, you're a mother. But to see your children early in the morning to prepare for school is a lot of fun. It is stressing but at the same time fun.

There was a phase when I really hated Monday Mornings! I used to be very anxious Sunday afternoons knowning that I have to get up early and face another week of stress, that I really end up spoiling my Sunday nights just thinking of it. Then it dawned on me that I just need to embrace one day at a time. Take each day and enjoy when it's time to relax and have fun, and just face or worry about tomorrow. Though it's always so nice to know what you expect the next day so you can plan. But just that only plan so you can schedule what needs to be done, but you really don't have to worry about it yet. I really don't know if it's that effective for me, but yeah for now I've gone by waking up that lazy on Monday mornings.

Back when I was still a college student, my typical morning would be waking up at around 4am and get ready for school. Leave the house at around 5.15am, ride the bus for 30mins going to school. Then spend almost all day attending classes. Now, after graduating, my typical Monday morning would be waking up and then sitting in front of my laptop until the sun sets.

Four am?! That's very early. Well, I also did that when I was in elementary and secondary school. Why is that you'd sit in front of your laptop? What's your job?
