Do you go through drive thrus just to get soda when doing errands?

I haven't gone though a drive-thru to get just a soda here recently. Although, I've done it in the drive-thrus that are not restaurants. I guess that's what those are meant for. Usually, if I want just a drink, and there's not a dt around, I'll stop at a gas station or pop machine.

I am guilty of this as well. I love going to Sonic and getting their happy hour deal (drinks are 1/2 price from 2-4 pm). I always get thirsty while I'm out doing chores and I feel like I am treating myself for all the hard work I'm doing. I really should stop doing it. I'm sure those sodas are not good for me!

I don't normally go to the drive thru to just get a soda, but I do go into the gas station just up the road from my son's school to get one almost every day it seems. I have not done that in about a week though. I bought a big bag of ice when out the other day and I have been filling up a cup with ice and soda at the house before I go out to save myself a few dollars.

I have done this before too. They are cheap. And sometimes that is all we need. Down side, sometimes I get a hankering for something else too. SO it isn't something I do often.

No, i don't. I think they are too expensive,I very seldom ever buy a drink from a drive through or a store that carries them.

Well I do not own a car so I have never ever done this before but if I did have a car I would still go thru a drive-thru even if it was just for a drink. It is pretty easy that way and I would not have to get out of the car haha. Nah, I am NOT that lazy but drive-thrus are very very convenient. Happy MyLotting. -AidanKay.

I don't do that...because I'd be tempted to get something to eat too!! I can't go thru the drive thru and just get a soda!!

I do sometimes when I am thirsty, but I dont do it on a regular basis. I just think there are other things tha I can do. I dont like getting it if I am not thirsty. There are usual lines at Mcdonalds anyway and I think that there are some things that I like better than the large sodas or ice teas. I like their iced coffees.

I'd rather hit a Sonic or a conveinence store, I can at least sip a bit before I put the lid on a conveinence store.

Before I lost my job I used to go through McDonald's drive thru so I could get a sweet tea, even if I already had a bag from some other fast food joint in my vehicle. They make their sweet tea juuuuust right!
