Hi, The new operating system launched by Microsoft named Windows 7 is simply amazing. It's user interface is awesome and in addition to that it uses less resources as compared to Vista. What do you all have to say about it ? Did you like Windows 7 or you just hate it ?

I haven't used it at all yet but will be soon on this new laptop I have. It has Vista Home Premium 64 bit and it is a headache. It's always freezing on me and rearranging my desktop icons, plus a few other bothersome things. I've read the reviews on the WIn 7 Beta and they were great so I see the real deal as being even better. Looking forward to it very soon.

Well I have been using 7 since the time they released the beta. It's a awesome experience. You must surely and quickly shift to using windows 7 and remove Vista as soon as you can.

My hubby and I have had a computer in our home since 1996. We then decided to put together our own computer system in 2000. We were going to get a new one when Vista came out put the reviews were that it was bad so we waited. We got our tax refund at the end of January and two weeks ago we finally got two new computers with Windows 7. Boy! What a difference! We love it. It is the coolest. I love the features that is has. We are still trying to learn everything. All I can say is that Microsoft has outdone itself this time. Sincerely in Christ, Leesa C. Eph.2:8,9

Windows Vista alone is annoying what more Windows 7, these operating system is base from from Windows NT family if you can still recall it. And Windows NT according to those gurus is taken from Unix. Microsoft is release and releasing another version but still the platform of the OS is the same they only change themes and so fort. Windows Vista still not yet fix and they are releasing another Windows 7. I think most of you still remember the release of "Windows Longhorn" and what about Windows ME? I think Windows 3.11 is better less bloating and don't even suck memory. Windows '98 is fine for me but issue is FAT32. Windows XP is almost perfect but service pack of microsoft discontinued. Windows Vista were sue in Europe for their first release because of omitting Windows Media Player? I think I'd rather prefer OpenDOS no colors,no bloat nothing at all.

Yes indeed as you said, it is excellent! The resource consumption of this OS is very less compared to Vista and a bit high compared to XP. The functionality, security, versatility, durability, speed are very much enhanced!

I haven't used Win7 yet but I'm about to have my dirty hands on it soon haha. The company I work for is going to upgrade our systems here with Win7. I have been hearing plenty of nice stuff about it, so I think it won't be bad. I just hope it doesn't pose problems with my work. I do programming stuff so I hope it is fully compatible with Win7. Cheers!

Yes, Windows 7 is what you aptly put it ... simply amazing. I don't know much about OS or computers but I sure do notice something has improved. It is faster. I once had Windows Vista Home Premium and it really pained me to wait for it to log in. I need to shift my attention to doing other things before I can start using the laptop. Shutting down using Vista was also a long wait. Windows 7 is a very good relief, really!

Well I can say I have definitely hated vista with a passion, but as soon as I switched over to Windows 7 I realized how much better it was. So many less headaches and a much improved interface! I was in windows heaven now that I could actually get stuff done without having to want to kill my computer.

I wouldn't touch Vista for any amount of money, but Windows 7 on the other hand...simply fantastic!
