I was responding to a response on one of my recent topic postings and it got me to thinking some sort of funny, even alittle illogical thoughts. Here is how it went down. I am answering a response to my posting about the way english is being used today and I began wondering what if Martians or some species from outer space were to be tracking us, even listening in. What one thing above all else would we be totalled or even just alittle embarrassed about. It could be from history, elements of society today, or some personal issue you are working on. What one thing would leave them stimied and us totally embarrassed? Oh, what do I think it might be? The breaking down of the English language today. All teens and young folk have their cute sayings or ways of talking but we just don't seem to have much respect for the language anymore! It's true! We abreviate, don't capitolize, use mondain and even nasty phrases only they understand. Does this mean I am old? Ok. Now I am getting paranoid.
