Does anyone know what is going on with them as far as upgrading memberships and article submissions? I've been with them for a few months and realize that my submissions do not show up in the first couple of search pages but it's still in most Google or Yahoo searches. I made a submission a few months ago that they neither accepted or rejected. It just remains in 'pending' status. I inquired about it nearly 3 weeks ago and haven't gotten a response except to say that they received my help ticket. What other content sites accept published articles that a writer would own the rights to?

This has been a very informative discussion. I haven't written for content sites in a number of years. I had written for some that closed and one that didn't pay so I just quit all Internet writing. Anyone remember "Themestream"? Only recently have I started again to write for MyLot and another similar site.

I am not familiar with ArticleIncome. But other content sites you can look into are Helium, Associated Content (which offers upfront payments), and eHow. All of those are non-exclusive sites. My favorite is Helium.
