A friend of mine was making a jigsaw tonight when i went to see her,i asked her if she was that bored why didnt she pop out and go some where, she replied i would have, but she wanted to finish the jigsaw to make sure all the bits were there before she put it in a charity bag.I thought that was quite nice.

My little one is a puzzle monster, so it is because of her we have boxes of puzzles (jigsaws) here. She's pretty quick in putting them together by herself too! It drives me nuts when I clean them up and they are not completed . . . I will go ahead and put them together myself to make sure all the pieces are there. It drives me nuts when pieces are missing!

I do not do jigsaws, but my kids do. It is nice of your friend to make sure they are all there before giving them away.

I love working jigsaw puzzles, but my cats are pretty prohibitive about working on them, so I only do the ones online

Evening jugsjugs, I have done a few jigsaws and find them quite relaxing well to a certain point. I like to do jigsaws with the kids that way we can all help but of course those are just small children aged puzzles. The ones that I like to do the most are the ones with a ton of pieces but also with a basic design..I don't want to get into something to hard because then it takes away from the relaxing aspect of it. I haven't done a puzzle in almost 4 years though, I need to get back into doing them again. Happy mylotting =)

It's always nice to give for charity. I am not a big fan of jigsaws, I've done them more online then I think I have offline in quite a while. They are fun from time to time, and the finished product is definitely worth it!

Aww, you're right, that was a truly nice gesture on the part of your friend. We used to do a lot of jigsaw puzzles as a family, sometimes very large ones that we'd go back to over the span of a week before they were finished. It's been a long time, though, so maybe I should buy one and rekindle an old interest :) Karen
