I traveled around the world when I was 20 years old. I went to the USA, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. I did another long trip when I was 29 years old when I went to French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa on my way to and from New Zealand. What is your ideal around the world route? Here are so examples: London-San Francisco-Hawaii-Tokyo-Delhi-London Los Angeles-Samoa-Auckland-Sydney-Perth-Cape Town-Amsterdam-Los Angeles

Hi murderistic: i forgot Egypt which is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I'd love to take a look on the pyramids but i should not include it on my list because i think it's too long that i must not add another country. It looks like another nice dream, definetly god has created a lot of beautiful places around the entire world.

It's certainly true that both God and man have made some beautiful things... but the main reason why I want to travel is because I am absolutely fascinated with the culture and language of the places on my list (besides Niagara falls, there isn't much culture there, just tourists). I am learning Arabic and am very familiar with Middle East culture, which is why I included so many Arabic-speaking countries: as for the pyramids, I might stop by, but I'm more concerned with meeting people and learning the language and culture. I also am in love with gypsy music and would love to spend some time with gypsies in Ukraine and Romania to learn more about their culture - they seem like tons of fun. I will admit that I only chose Thailand to visit because I find their food to be the best Asian food out there, haha! But I'd love to learn about their culture too. I'm an anthropology minor and am facinated by culture.

I agree.. so awesome. So, you've been to Singapore. Can you remember the places that you've visited? I do wanna go to Fiji and US someday. Saving up, it seems. You have the chance to go and travel when you were just 20? That's so cool, really..

Yes, I have been to Singapore and in my last trip there I visited the national park. It is such a lovely city with much to see. I wish you good luck with your saving up and visiting the USA and Fiji. If you like Fiji the other Pacific Islands are just as special. Happy traveling.

Oh,my god,I hardly envy you,I often have this opinion, but I haven't gone anywhere till now! When I was 19 years old,I was on campus, and I should work hard to scholarship to reduce the burden on my family, and I paid all my energy and money. When I was 23 years old,I graduated,so I had to found a good work to feed myself and support my sister to go to college. Now,I should work to buy house,to buy car,to have baby,to live... I think I have no chance to realize this dream in my life, because I don't have enough money to support my dream, and if I have a lot of monry,I think may be I have no time to enjoy. What a very extravagant dream it is!But you have it! Congratulations! And please treasure it! Good luck!

It sounds like you are busy in your life at the moment. Earlier this year I went on a 12 hour flight with my toddler son. I was 17 weeks pregnant at that time. I have met many people that say they will travel the world when they retire. I am glad that your studies have gone well. Maybe you will travel in the future. Good luck.

I had a great experience in rural France as a young person. I was admiring a quaint older home with delicate flowers and beautiful little strawberry plants. The owner, an older man, came out and began to tell me in French about his flowers they where so lovely. I barely could speak French. Soon he invited me in and we had delicious rolls and fresh strawberries from the garden. What a day I had indeed. I shall always remember his kindness.

One trip that I'd live to take, but probably never will, is to take the Trans - Siberian to Irkutsk and then by boat down the Lena to Yakutsk. Fly from Yakutsk to Magdan or Vladiovistok and then fly onwards to Anchorage in Alaska, then down to Vancouver or San Francisco by whatever transport presented itself. Finishing up with either the Trans - Canada or Trans - America rail trip. That'd combine two of the longest rail journies in the world and a trip down Siberia's longest river. I think that it's the longest river anyway.

I think I like the London-San Fran-Hawaii-Tokyo-Delhi one better than the last one, but that's just because I'm learning Japanese in school and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go there! And I also dream of going to Hawaii some day - it looks SO beautiful in pictures. So I would definitely choose the first one. It's super cool that you got to travel around the world @ 20 - that's such a young age. I bet that was an amazing experience.e

Hello maximax8 this is checkmail and often do was dreaming of visisiting the whole world, but after getting the reality, it not possible for any man kind to travel around the world.Well geographycally its too vast to travel, and it will also take time, even some places are forbidden one's, and the rising tension between various countries and development of terror. And the main things is it will require a huge amount as well as an strong health, which is not avail to us currently.

Hi maximax: you're so lucky! i mean there's like a dream come true and you must learn about different cultures... does it cost you a lot? i think it should after all these steps you have made. In my case this would be my ideal travel around the globe trip: 1. Mexico City 2. Los Angeles 3.Quebec 4. London 5. Madrid 6. Paris 7. Rome 8. Vatican City 9. Jerusalen 10. Moscow 11. Tokyo 12. Buenos Aires 13. Sao Paulo It seems that mine it's more expensive but as you ask about my ideal travel that's my answer even this must cost a fortune. Thanks for posting this interesting question.
