You have any idea on buying traffic for website?

I have a site and that is basically an advertising site. I am thinking on buying some traffic for the site. Does it increase traffic rank?
Are these all unique or just use of some script for making the click on my url? Those companies are claiming that they will provide clicks from unique ips.
Any of my friends has any idea about this affair?

I think those companies worked out some kinda software to fake up various IP address. These virtual IPs can increase your traffic, but it doesn't make sense.
you know, these traffic is made by only one computer, it just makes your traffic rank looks "good".

In my opinion, it is unnecessary for webmasters and bloggers to buy traffic for sites.
At first, we are not familiar with the sources of these traffic and assure the quality of the traffic. I guess there are full of scams among all kinds of traffic. Secondly, for the long run, you won't benefit anything from buying traffic for your sites.
It is not worth trying indeed. If you want to improve traffic, just keep updating your sites with high-quality concents and you will succeed.
