We just moved to a new area and I'm trying to decide if I should send my kids to public or private high schools.
I always went to public high schools when I was a kid, but I don't know... I feel like they may get a better education at a private high school. I hear that drugs and stuff are more rampant at the public schools. Is that true? I've been trying to do some research and I've found a list of pretty much every school in the entire country ( http://high-schools.com ) but I'd like to talk to people, maybe someone who has been to both public AND private schools.
What were your experiences?
Thanks!

From kinder to college i graduated from a catholic private school. I had a great academic learnings and experiences with my alma mater. I am proud to be a graduate from a private school.
I got my exposure to public schools when we did our catechism to the graders. I love those days teaching the kids, playing and having fun with them.

I think it doesn't matter if you send your child to a public or a private school.. I think the only big difference of those schools are the school equipments. Of course if you chose the private school, the equipments are complete that can really help them to their studies.
But the most important, is you should know the influences that your child may experience when they interact with the other kids. Your guidance is still the best as a mom.
