Maybe I can't say no, if I've spoken to them for a while online, I did it once, about six years ago and we are still friends, we have not met but we still talk.

I've given it out to some people, but those people have to earn it. I wouldn't give it out to just anyone. I have to think of them as a good friend and feel like I can trust them. It's really not for anyone to call, anyway. It's a pay-as-you-go plan that I use for whenever I fly somewhere or if I'm out and really need to make a call.

NEVER!! and someone just asked me that recently online. I had to tell them no. Which this person said they understand and we still keep contact via email but still, most people would probably not speak to that person anymore.

Yes, why not, it's just a phone number,:0) I give mine out all the time, if they start to get annoying or harrass you, then you tell them to stop calling or just block their number. Right?

I would, but there is a process of steps before this can happen (just for the fact that I don't trust too many people). If was so give someone I met online my number, I would have to have been talking to that person for at least a year and have pictures of 'em. Part of that communcation would be using live webchat through a webcam( I don't trust pictures too much). Once I feel I know that person enough, then I'll give my number. If that person want to meet in person, then we would have to be talking by phone for another half a yr. Communication is very important to me, it's one of the biggest factors of gaing trust.

I would never. with the new abilities in the computer world anyone with your number can find your adress and name out even if it is "unlisted"
