My favorite place to celebrate Christmas is with my family...all of us gather at my mother's house...and there are many of us now, since we are grown, married, and have grown children who are also married. Now my mother has many great and great great grandchildren! We love getting together. Karen

Are you working away from home? I'm sorry you won't be spending Christmas with your family, but maybe with friends? That would also be nice.

We are the same. Spending Christmas with our family is simply a perfect Christmas. But we should always remember the true essence of Christmas. It's for the Lord. :)

i rather spend the holidays at home with family. however, i have to be away from them because of work and high cost of travel. can't afford to go back home. i would rather send them the money i save for the year and call them those times. it might be not much at at least the money will help them. it might not be the same as spending the holidays but what can i do.....

Oh. I hope you could spend your Christmas with your family this time. Money is nothing compare to your family. but youre right, it will help them. But i hope you will be able to set aside your job this time and have quality time with your family. For, life is short. :)

Christmas time is a good time to reflect on the birth of Christ and for what He did for us. Although we do this anytime of the year it would be nice to spend time together with the family during the season. I have good memories of my family being together during christmas and and they are good examples to follow. enjoy!

We always have two Christmas's one with my family at Christmas Eve, that is at my mom's house. On the actual Christmas day we do our thing here at home and then we go to my sister in laws house every year to be with my husband's family. We do Thanksgiving here at our house so I get lucky and don't have to do any of the cooking or the work for the Christmas holiday.

Well, I don't think it really matters on a location per se, but rather the fact that you're spending it with people you love. For myself I prefer spending it with my loved ones, having a big dinner either at my parent's place or our house with the other relatives visiting. One year though I would like to actually go up to a ski resort with our immediate family and just spend it there at the ski slopes. I think that would be really special. Perhaps another year I'll ask my husband to go away with me so it's just the two of us someplace romantic. But yeah I think location is really unimportant, it's the quality of the company that you keep.

We actually always spend our Christmas at home. My favorite part is putting up the Christmas tree, because I just love decorating it with all of the pretty ornaments. We always leave the star for my sister, and since she's still little, we have to pick her up so that she can put it on there (though it usually takes a few tries). Occassionally, my grandparents come to visit, so we all have a Chistmas feast that night, then stay up until midnight on New Years.

Hi Victory, I don't celebrate Christmas and New Year, for me it is just another public holiday for me and it is also my family day as my husband will be at home ,we will spent our time together with our son. Nothing special for Christmas and New year after I got married. When I was single, I used to went to Orchard Road in Singapore for Christmas countdown party. It was so fun.The whole Orchard Road was full of people and everyone is counting down for Christmas day.Trumpets are sold everywhere. The christmas lightning is along the Orchard Road. The best part is almost all restaurants are fully booked on Christmas Eve. That will be the most amazing Christmas for me in my life. I always hope can celebrate my Christmas in Paris, that is my dream.

I usually spend my Christmas with my family. It's such a joy being with your family dring Christmas. We gather at my uncle's house and open our gifts together. It's such a fun. The members of our family is complete but my dad. So this Christmas, I wish to celebrate with him. I know how sad it is to celebrate alone. And I just miss him so much. :(

Hi victory: thanks for this question it makes me think about these good days that are very close to us now, i think we'll find some more Xmas discussions very soon. Lol. XD. In my case i can tell you that i have always passed my Xmas with my family in my little town at home. It's really nice, i think we live the real Xmas spirit, we pray, we celebrate, we talk with all our family members that are usually invited, we enjoy the night. It's beautiful. Thanks for your discussion, i love Xmas celebrations. Have a nice day.

I normally like to celebrate Christmas and New Year with my family and friends. Twice I have spent Christmas and New Year overseas: the first time in Queensland in Australia and the second occasion in Northland in New Zealand. I got to see dolphins on Christmas Day. Wow!
