2010 Plans

Have you started planning about what will you be doing next year? It's almost year end and I think it is just time for everyone to make plans for the coming year. Well, I have started noting about my plans in 2010. I am more of concentrating to work, less of church ministry. I am planning to be in a work marathon next year and I want to be focused on it. I have spend almost all of my time in church ministry this year and I want to lessen my devoted time in that aspect next year. I don't have much plans to travel because like what I've said next year will be all about WORK. I need to work hard. So, my plan next year will be more about work. How about you guys?

Planning for next year, it's quite something if I plan for next week! I always find that if I make any plans then they end up changing. The only thing I ever plan in advance is holidays. Due to working within education I have a lot of holidays so try to get away 3 or 4 times a year. The reason this takes a lot of planning in advance is searching for the bargains. Although I work in education I am not a teacher and do not get paid for the holidays.

Next year for me I will try to pay down my student loans, and get settled in a more career type job than what I have now. I also want to study a new language. :-)

My husband and I have goals but really they aren't necessary to be obtained by next year alone. My husband and I hope to be in our own home by the anniversary of our wedding, so this will be our first anniversary. we also hope to have our own car, and paying our own bills. I am more hopeful this will happen within next year, but we are truly going to be slow and steady so as to not get in over our heads. I hope to mylot more next year, and maybe make it to $100.00 per pay period on mylot so as to help with saving and our other goals.

I have high hopes for 2010. In fact, I'm excited about it. My grandmother is entrusting her business to me. She is willing invest just for me to continue her business. This really sounds like a plan and am seriosuly considering it. Secondly, I'm getting married this December so I'm pretty sure next year marks a major change in my life. In totality, I am positive that I will start the year right in 2010.

I don't have really plans for next year but if I would have a plan for 2010 that would be to study everyday to have a good grades

I think that's a great plan. Studying hard is really a good investment for the future and I won't say your time spent working hard to have good grades won't be wasted. So, I would say, work hard and study very well because it's for your future's sake. Studying hard is like planting seeds where in you can reap the fruits of your good work in God's perfect time.

I do respect your opinion. Well, if you think planning is no good for you, then don't do it and just go with the flow of life's blessings and surprises. Good luck in all your endeavors in life and hopefully you will be filled with God's blessings next year.

Mine would be: STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, and try to squeeze in a bit of work somewhere in there.LOL Im vying for honors in my (hopefully) graduation March of next year. I had a low average last semester that pulled my overall average making me ineligible for an honor on graduation. So this semester Im going to try my hardest to raise my semestral average so as to be able to increase my overall, and get to the grade cut-off. When I graduate, I will still be studying cause Ill be taking up a short course in Culinary ARts. Parents want me to and they're paying for it so why not.LOL If Ill be studying in Manila for that short course, Im gonna have to postpone my plans of taking up Law, just until after that short course, when I get back home Ill enroll in my desired subject, which is Law. However, if Ill only be taking up that short course somewhere near my hometown, then I can actually take up Law side by side with that short course. These plans are going to make me busy next year but I do hope that I make them all. Just taking them one step at a time. So for now, Im studying my hardest for that honor. Goodluck and try to have fun fulfilling your plans next year.

Well,I am sure you can do it. Just work hard for it and like what you have said study, study and study and of course don't also forget to look up and ask for wisdom and knowledge to God because He can give you what you need and will be with you as you reach your goal. Just have focus in your studies and have the winning determination. I graduated with awards during college. Actually, I am the only student in our course who was given awards. I'm so blessed about it. And I think it's all because of God's guidance plus hard work and a little bit of inspiration. Good luck and God bless you!

I didn't make that many plans 2010 yet, but I signed up for a summer course that takes place in June and July, and I am really looking forward to it. At the moment I am studying psychology and math, and the classes that I paid for end in December. I can continue if I want, but I am thinking about taking a break from my studies in 2010. It is also possible to continue in August 2010 instead of January 2010, so that is another option that I am considering at the moment. I also hope to study Russian next year, and I probably can't afford to pay for it all. My husband and I are trying to find a house at the moment. We live in a rented house, and we would like to buy a house instead. We haven't found the right place yet, but I hope we will find a great house that we can afford. We know where we want to live, we just haven't found the right house, hopefully we will find a house in 2010.

That's interesting. What is all about that summer course? I wish you good luck in your studies as well as in the course you will about to take on summer. And hopefully, you can find a house you can afford next year. Hope you find a good one.

My plan for 2010 is balance the work and life. I want to be improved in work and have time to travel to more places than this year. And I should pass the accounting test and geat the certificate. Keeping on learning English and Spanish.

So, next year will be a great and big year for you since you are adjusting in your new home. Well, I suggest that you find a job where in you could still be with your daughter at school. I mean, look for a part time job or online job probably in order for you to be with your daughter at the same time work.

Why did you say you have very difficult and beautiful plans? I'm just curious about it. Maybe you have major and big plans that's why you consider it difficult and beautiful right? I am right in saying so? Well, correct me if I'm wrong. Hopefully, you won't have that much difficulty in fulfilling your plans and just what you have said I wish that it will turned beautifully just like what you have planned.

I never thought about it much lately. I think the biggest thing that would happen next year is that we are aiming that there is a transitional government. I am hoping that we would exercise our right to vote for the right person next year and we would have a good government to change our current situation.
• Philippines
9 Nov 09
I hoping too that there will be good governance in our country. I just hope that people won't just vote for who is famous but for the one who can really stand and have a good governance to bring about change to everyone's lives. Hopefully, the situation here in our country won't get worse and I am praying that people should really be wise in voting for the right person to be in the position.

Next year probably won't be a huge year of any kind for me. This year I got married and in two years my husband and I will probably move out of state (back home) and then start trying to have children (so that's 2011.) But 2010 - no major plans yet. I think we'll still be here where we're at yet and no major life changes! I'm ok with that though because the past few years have been VERY exciting and active for us.

9 Nov 09
It's good to know that you have been productive this year and that there are many things that happened to your life. Firstly, I wish you congratulations and best wishes to your wedding. And I hope that you will be having your dream children soon. I also hope that your 2011 plans will be obtained in that time.

Seeing this topic, feels like something slap my face, lol. every year I plan and yet almost 80% of the plan not working. maybe someone can give me a tip so I can do most of the plan, while I start to make 2010 plan. ^_^
• Philippines
9 Nov 09
Sorry if this topic seems to be a slap on your face.lol Anyways, maybe there's really a problem on how you make your plans if almost all of it aren't working. Maybe, you should be more realistic on the plans you have. I am not an expert but I would say it's better if you make plans which is realistic and really work hard for those. It takes hard work and determination to meet goals and obtain plans in life. I hope that your next year's plan will work.

What part time job do you want to have? Are you not considering online part time job such as blogging and being a member of earning sites? Well, that's just a suggestion. Information Technology, that seems to be a good course. That is a course which is in demand nowadays knowing the fact that all of the company's and instituter s now are run by technology specially computers. Hopefully, you can finish your studies soon. I am also happy knowing that you have plans of doing volunteer jobs and being involved in the ministry of God. I hope that God will bless you more and I'm sure he is with you as you reach your plans and goals in life.

hi babyfiona, I have a plan listed on my notepad for the next year. I am a bit excited about it and I am looking forward of accomplishing all the goals I have for 2010. Like you, it is all about work. I am eager to get more income apart from my regular job and I want to have more savings before I reach 30. Although I am just 26 right now I know time run fast and I have to prepare for my future. I am planning to lose some weight next year! Hahaha...because I became a little chubby this year. Then, I'm planning to buy a new laptop for myself and I am still working on our house renovation, so probably next year it will be completely finished. Happy Lotting!
• Philippines
9 Nov 09
So, we almost have the same plans?lol. It's good to hear that you are hard working and determined to save for the future. That's a good virtue. I wish you good luck in all your plans and that you will meet your goals and plans in the coming year. Losing weight is not that hard, it just takes discipline and again determination I guess. So, hopefully, you'll bur those fats away. May you buy your new laptop soon and finish your house renovation as well.

I have't plans. Because I don't know where I am and what I will do the next year.I think do a plan of one year is too long and uncertain factors is too much.so we can do some short-term plan instead of the long-term plan.
• Philippines
9 Nov 09
Oh. So, you are planning to note short term goals? I think it's a good idea too because it is more specific and It has really an exact time table. Hopefully, you can draw your plans for the coming year even if it is only a short term plans. I think it is really important to make plans because it motivates us to reach success.
