What small gestures have you made for the person you love?

In life, there are too many people that focus on expensive material things, what about the smaller things? THings or gestures that are meant to say I love you in a subtle way? What have you done for your loved one to say I love you or I care about you? Big or small, what do you do to show that person that you love them. Yes, it helps to say that you love them, but it matters to show it as well...share your stories.

If one were to keep an account of the things that one does for someone who he/she claims to love then that would not be love. I just do but never keep an account.

It's not so much keeping an account, it's just noticing the small things...recognizing when one does small things for you and if you ever show that you love someone. I think people like to know that you care and appreciate a small gesture every now and then.

I am a widow but every time I see one of my children or grand children I kiss then and tell them how much I love them. I keep in otuch with my children who live away from me too. They always come home to see me.

My late husband worked 70 kilometers away from us and he only went home on weekends. I always called him everyday..morning and nightime, to check if he was okay. Sometimes I went on unannounced visits to where he stayed in the province and brought him his favorite fruits. On some weekends, my children and I were the ones visiting him there. On weekends when he came home, we all treated him like a king and we just wanted him to relax and rest most of the time.

Every night,my boyfriend and i go out have fun by motorcycle.These days ,the temperature is low,we all feel very cold on the way .so he alway use his left hand to surround my hand now and then.I felt so happy.this gesture is meant to say i am care about you.

My wife always prepares our breakfast every morning. Be it in anything ranging from a simple toasted bread and a bacon or fried rice with fried dried fish. This simple things and gesture my wife do for us shows her love to the family.
For me, coming from work, and saying "Hey guys, I'm home" with a happy and bright face ensures my family that I have finished my work with a smile in my face. And that signals them that I have done a good job today. And the next thing i will do is to kiss each and everyone in the family.
