I was so confused when almost all the people around me were talking about farming, crops and harvests and neighbors and a lot more.I didn't understand why almost everyone wants to go home early because they have to harvest or their crops will be rotten and their farms will be at a mess.when i came home,my kids are in a hurry to open computer and laptop because of the same reason.I was startled. What's going on around me?My friends,my instructor,my classmates,my kids.I think there's something I am not updated with. Then I knew it was Farm ville on Facebook.Oh my,im outdated.so funny.i got my facebook 2007 and i didn't get the chance to open it until ex-husband calls and so vain asking he saw mine when he searched names on net.I never knew about it though,I forgot. But it really makes me wonder why they spend a lot of time on farming.I hope they can compensate with that, then it would be real they have money. Are you one of those addicted to farm ville? on facebook? Gosh,i dont know how.I have Tagged and addicted buying pets...LOL.How about you? Where are you addicted to?

Well, I'm not that addicted to games in facebook, I just play them. But I remember the first farming game that I played and enjoyed which is harvest moon on a gameboy emulator in my PC. That was more realistic because you could water the plants, extend your house, cook some food, court a girl and get married, and even have your own child! How cool is that!

Well, I think it's not the same having a real family in real life because it's still a computer game. The cute part is you'll see your baby first holding by your wife, and then after some time he/she is crawling, uttering the first words, etc. That was cute!

My mom loves Farmville, as well as several variants like Fishworld. I find it a colossal and sad waste of time. We all have our ways to whittle away the day though I suppose.

You are right Project. But in a way I understand your Mom too. It's one way to get rid of boredom especially when she has nothing to do after all tasks/chores were done, and she's left alone.thank you for the response.

Yeah, I guess it's the same as playing video games for hours. Personal hobbies can be whatever you like. I just don't understand how something like Farmville could enrapture people for so long. Not really my business though =p.

Well I know some friends who are addicted to Farmville as well, and some even invited me to sign up at Facebook so I'll know what they're talking about. But I personally think I don't have the time for other sites as myLot alone keeps me so busy, I don't think I have the luxury of time to play games on other sites, even at Facebook where most of my friends are. To answer your question, I am addicted to myLot.

Well, I play Farmville but then I get bored after a while because it runs on real time. Now I don't play it as often because I don't have the time.

Hi 1starrynite,are you sure crops are doing fine?..LOL.im with my daughter while i read this msg.she said maybe you're asking someone to work on your farm while you're out,so crops won't wither.Because she said she asked her bf to keep watch and harvest while she's at school.whew!

Nice... most of the crops can be harvested in a few hours to a few days, though it might wither if you leave it alone for too long, therefore I only plant the expensive crops that take a long time to grow so I don't have to care for them as much.
