Since I have kids there are several things that I don't do anymore. Some of them I miss!! I don't miss the night scene but we used to go see a good band play every now and then. I loved loved loved that. I haven't been to see a band play in years! I don't roll my hair anymore either. That may have a little to do with the styles changing tho. What don't you do any more?

I am a stay at home mother of two, I can say that i miss working. I am a band singer and I miss singing already, but its okay I wanted to be a stay at home mother as well. I want to be hands on when it comes to my kids. I know I will go back singing maybe two years from now when my youngest is 5 years old. I also miss dressing up to work, cool outfits, boots hahaha things lie that.

I think when its all said and done you will be happy about your decision to stay at home with them now. Kids so so so need good guiding, hands on,helping, attention giving parents. Just be sure and go back to it later on. Meanwhile you can teach them to sing!!

I do not hide behind makeup, hairstyles and fashion, I am content with who I am. I like to look nice, but the world does not cave in if I am not perfect. I do not beat myself up anymore. It is not because I have kids, but it is because maybe I have some maturity. My kids are grownups themselves.

I have never really had an active life, social or otherwise. When my daughter was born in 2003, things changed. I went to more places because of her, like doctor visits and such. I miss the peace and quiet that I used to have, as well as all of my time alone. On the other hand, she has given me so much. Because of her, she has taught me the meaning of responsibility, reliability, and patience, just to name a few. I still have a long way to go in those areas. There were decisions that I would have made several years ago that I would not make today. As she grows, I learn more and more each minute. I learn from her just as much as she learns from me. Since my daughter is now 6 1/2, we do alot of things together. We go to the library, do grocery lists and shopping together, as well as get on the computer, online and off. So, in short, very little has changed, in the sense of what I used to do. In fact, those things have increased because of her. What I had to give up in no way competes with what I have learned.

Helo there! Well...what i miss most is going out night times with my boyfiend@ hubby now hahahahahaha...now we're busy with kids and work..the time is very precious for us!! Even at home, talking to each other is quite difficult with 4 kids trying to outdo the dad !!!hahahahaa Last time...a decade ago i think..we use to go out seeing live band perform or hanging out at cafes until wee hours...now we have to make a date after work heheheheeeee The thing is...we will never trade it back seeing our kids face..the smiles..the laugh...we just need to adapt and make the best out of it..hahahaha
