Im affraid very affraid lol! Send prayers my way.I rode with her today and thought Id have a heart attack before I got out of the truck! I only allow her to drive on very back roads because I am terrified to get on a real road with her. She seems at 15 to young to make the kind of disicions it takes to drive. Lord give me strenght and help her to be a good driver. anyone have any advice

My husband works out of town for long periods of time. When our son started driving and he needed to practice, I called my brother-in-law and told him..you're his uncle, you do it. I couldn't seperate all the dumb things he did growing up from the driver part of him. I would get in the passenger seat and all I could think was this is the same person that once road his bike down the big slide at the park. This person thought you could roller blade on a trampoline..it was too much for me and for him, my nervousness was messing him up. He's been driving 2 years and I ride with him now without keeping my foot on my imaginary brake. You already have the praying part down, don't forget to call the insurance company, and have faith that this too will pass, it's our milestone too. And the first time you get to send her to the store for that forgotten item, you will be so happy this will all seem like a distant memory. Am sending prayers..Good Luck

there you go.we shouldn't have to do it all just because our hubbies are lucky enough to have a built in excuse.

Hi Nextellady, Better talk to your daughter and let her realize the importance of responsible driving. make it a friendly discussion that she will not feel you are nagging her or giving her sermon it will not work. Good luck. Let her feel your love and concern.
