First words, first logical thoughts, first time when you start to know something about this world, who was first person who teach you what world mean? First time when you keep a pen and a white papers and write; mother, apples, sea, dreams; you remember who was your first teacher? I remember about my first teacher, in my school first day; she was great, now she is die, but i keep this wonderful woman in my heart; a beatiful woman, with black hair, with so soft hands, with a nice voice; i can t forgot this woman even pass so many years; she was my first person who say ..."now, your mother let you with me, and i will help you to know something about this world" Maybe because of this woman all my life i were so courious, to know much and much things about everything, she wake up my interests about this new life , out from my house.

Yes, I remember her. She was and I hope she still is a very nice woman, not so strict like many of the teachers, she shown us how we must write correct, how to write the letters and the first words that we learnt, were "my name is..." and "I'm a student". She taught us how to write correct and fair. She is the best teacher I ever had and I still remember her after so many years( that was about 13-15 years ago).

hi icesmile! its so nice that you still remeber your very first teacher...and the way you describe her...wow! but sorry to hear that she already passed away... as for me, the very first person who taught me how to write is my mom! yes, she's my first teacher and who taught me things about this world... but outside our house, my very first school teacher, my teacher on first grade, yes, i still remember her...Mrs. Reyes as we call her...she's already old then but she's really nice and very kind...she never get angry and teach us patiently, she's actually my second mom when i was in school... what i like most about her is that, she remains there with me even if i already graduated from elementary and every now & then i come to hear news about her and she also ask about me... i love her so much. but its just sad, that i don't hear anything about her now since i move to another province... i just wish that she's still in good condition...

I don't remember the priest, because I was around 1 or 1 1/2 year old. Next person who must have taught me must have been my mother. now, your mother let you with me, and i will help you to know something about this world these are some nice words.

Hello Ice. Well she is passed on to a better place she is now with God and He will bless her for giving children of her time here on earth. She sounds like she made a real impression on your young mind. My first teacher actually was my older sister she taught me to read ,write , spell, and do math. I didn't go to school till I was almost 7 and when my mother put me in school I was put in the 2nd grade because I knew more then the other kids. I thank God for my sister she wanted me to have more then her she wanted all of us that were younger then her to be taught better. She liked teaching us when we were young. She was at my side all through school. She has done her own children this way. It was her that made me want to find new and different things in this life. Hope you have a great day!

i THINK THE FIRST TEACHER TO EVERYONE IS HIS/HER MOTHER.. MOTHER INTRODUCES US TO THE WORLD. SHE IS THE ONE WHO INTRODUCES OUR FATHER.. IN INDIA, IT IS RIGHTLY SAID AS MATHA(MOM), PITHA(DAD), GURU(TEACHER), DEIVAM9GOD)- IT MEANS THAT ONES MOTHER IS YHE MOST SUPREME ONE TO EVERY NEW BORN.. NEXT WE ARE INTRODUCED TO OUR DAD WHO HELPS US TO FIND OUR TEACHER AND THIS TUTOR SHOWS US WHO GOD IS.. MOTHER IS THE FOUNDATION TO ALL OUR QUALITIES

Hello, friend! My first teacher was definitely my father. He insisted that I had to be able to read, add, subtract, and hold up my end in a discussion before I was three years old. Every morning, I read him at least two articles from the newspaper, and we discussed it. He explained things I didn't understand, without editing things for my age. This is not unusual in our culture. Children started Hebrew school as soon as we could pass three tests -- reading, writing and potty-training. Most of my class began before age three.

[b]My Mom. She began teaching me everything she knew as soon as I could talk, which was early on. She read books to me & I quickly grasped that the dark marks meant something, so I began pretending to write. Being an early artist, I illustrated my works, too! Seriously, though, I was home schooled in what would've been my kindergarten years (such was non-existent in our rural area) by Mom, as well as my grandmother, grandfather, & another lady ("Miss Camel," who, when it was discovered I had a natural ear for music, & had begun noodling on the old family's upright piano, picking out songs & making up tunes) took over Mom's piano teaching to further my education there. At least a couple of townsfolk encouraged my art, giving me materials. (One lady who ran one of the 3 little grocery stores gave me an entire roll of butcher paper on which to draw. Much later I learned how expensive it was! She even let me sell my art in her store.) At 5 & a half, I started 1st grade, & by the time I hit 5th grade, I had literally read everything available in our school library & the tiny town library, & was desperate for more! Mom bought me more books from her tiny income, but I think even she could see I had a habit she could never afford to keep fed! I was thrilled to my toenails when we moved from the minuscule village of Noble, Louisiana to Houston; the humongous City Library there was as wonderful & magical as Oz, to me! I virtually lived there! The home-schooling continued, & frankly, never really stopped. I learn far more outside the government traps they call "schools" than I ever learned in their system! My first teacher was my mother, she is the one who teaches me how to read, write and of course how to be a good person. She contributes a lot in my knowledge and all the things that I knew in this world. I already knew how to read and write before I go to school and for me it was not hard anymore because I was with a good teacher.
