Or do you wish you could move somewhere else? I love where I live because we live out in the country where no else is around us. We have 5 and a half acres of land. We can have as many pets as we want without the neighbors complaining because we don't have any neighbors. And we do have a lot of pets. We have 7 dogs and 4 cats! Plenty of room for them all. Do you like the area you live in or do you wish you could move. If you live in the country do you enjoy the peace and quiet? Or do you prefer the city? :)

Hi, it sounds like you really live in a great place, I wish I could live there I live in a big city, it's crowd in the city, you can meet maybe several hundreds people a day in the street, I don't like this city, and I also don't like the weather, and environment here. I hope I can live a peace and quite place, so we can have a big house, and can have my own garden, that's awesome.

It is a great place. We have a garden every year. It is great! It is nice and quiet here with the exception of the dogs barking and the cars going up and down. We live 4 miles from the highway so our road gets pretty busy. At least we don't have any neighbors and can do what we want here. I am never moving from here. Thanks for responding! :)

love it, i have a 170 ft. of lagoon waterfront leading into the gulf of mexico, i live in what people call the boonies, we have an occasional florida panthers crossing the road , wild hogs, bobcats, all sorts of cranes and falcons eagles, quail sitting on the front lawn with their bevy of little ones, and of course the gators, ding em in the head with a fishing pole and their gone they dont bother you, there's enough wild life around for them to eat besides the fish. i did the city thing for 48 years 15 miles outside manhattan, new york city, no thanks, the traffic is obscene, garbage all over the roads, i'll be a back woods boonie thank you, and at night you can hear a pin drop, except for the fish jumpin out back in the lagoon. and you my friend have the right idea, god bless ya.

I hate the area I live in! I live in a tinty tiny tiny village, average population age is around 70 yrs old, I really fit no where there. There is no store, nothing, just a small pub and a hairdresser -nothing else-. Other than that, it's just fields, fields and more fields...living in the country sucks most times!

I love where I live because I'm only 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the city. I have numerous shops nearby so I just walk everywhere I need to. Most of my neighbours are elderly so they are good to get along with and live next to.

That is wonderful that you live so close to everything! We live about 4 miles from the nearest town but it is no big deal to us. As long as we have our peace and quiet. Thanks for responding! :)

I live in the city although I was brought up the country. The suburb I am living in now, where I have been for 18 years is very pleasant. There are a lot of huge gum trees and good native gardens. I have 1/4 block, so there is plenty of room for my 2 cats, 2 dogs, etc. Prior to this place, I lived on 17 acrs in the hills. It was a very beautiful spot, but there were way too many snakes. This was a big disadvantage with my cats & dogs. All snakes here are deadly. Unfortunately, with my husband & I separated, this place is too big for me. I suspect within a year I will move to a smaller courtyard home.

I'm sorry you and your husband are separated. Sounds like you really like the place you are at now and the place you were before. I will never move from my home because I love it too much here. We have snakes here too but they are mostly little garden snakes. I still hate them though. I don't see them very often thank goodness! Thanks for responding! :)

I was born in the city and I have lived most of my life in the city, but one year ago my husband and I moved, and now we live in a village in the countryside. It was a big change at first and it took a while for me to get used to living here. There is a supermarked in our village, but if we want to buy other things, go the library or eat out, we have to drive to another town. It is very peaceful here compared to the city and there is less pollution. We live close to the sea and that is also very nice. I like living here, but my husband, doesn't like the area that much and he wants to move to another island. At the moment we live in a house that we have rented, but in the future when we buy our own house, we are probably going to live somewhere else (another island).

I lived in the country when I was little and then we moved to town. I liked it there but I love it here much better because it is so peaceful and quiet and beautiful. I love hearing the wild animals in the woods at night and I love the fact that my dogs have a big place to run. My niece enjoys it here too because she has a huge yard to play in. Sounds like a great place you have! Thanks for responding. :)

I have lived out in the country and it was very quiet and peaceful. We had a cat and a dog when we live in the country. We now live in a small town and although I missed the country when we first moved to town I love living in town now.

We live near a creek but it doesn't come as far as the house when there is a lot of rain. We did have one flood and I lost one of my dogs in it because I wasn't home when it happened. I miss her still. Thanks for responding.

I love the place that I am living now. Although it is a small city, it has everything that I want. I can go shopping, watch movie etc, I don't need to travel for a long time to do that. It is really convenience. The only problem is air pollution here. I hope government can solve this problem as soon as they can.

Dear friend, I like the place I live mainly I had been there for long time and those surrounding is well adjusted. The area is near to coastal area and also to town. Moreover the climate also is better here. But I hope more development could come near my area so that it could give much better lifestyle.

The area that i live in is ok,but it is the people and their attitudes towards the estate that i live on i do not like as well as i live near mine and my husbands family and they always tend to stick their nose in where it is not welcome. If i get the chance i am going to move as far away from them as i can.

hi,cwilson! I live in a city by the sea and I like it. the weather is very pleasant here.not very cold and little rain in winter. the air is clearer than other cities, partly because the aboundant winds blow off the polluted air. in fact it is a island very closed to the land and one third of it taken up by a serious of mountains,on which there is great botanic garden. in all,it is a nice place to live in. have a nice day!
