Hi itzmee! I understand and i can relate with your situation because i am going thru the same thing for a number of months now. I never though it would happen to me because there was a time i had almost anything for me and my family. But unfortunately it did not last very long because i did not took care of it properly. At least in your case, you only need to sell your jewelery and then your problem will soon be over. In my case, it will still take me months to settle everything... But it is during these dark and depressing times that we may realize not to take things for granted and hopefully learn from it... Your lucky that this happened to you while you're still young and your parents are still there to help and support you whatever happens, I don't, I'm on my own... Remember, there is no success without failure. A friend of mine told me not to loose hope and always have faith. Pray for things to get better because things will surely get better. So my advise to my friend.... don't loose HOPE, have FAITH from above.

Hi itzmee, check whether you can take a loan on your jewelry instead of selling it. In any event, I think after recession, gold prices will stagnate, if not fall. So you might actually thank your stars that you are selling it at the right time. Wish you could hold it for another six months though. :( BTW, do you have any life insurance policies? Check whether you can get cheaper loans on that. In India, we do. Hope things get better for you.

i am selling because to get paid for credit bills, but if again make a loan,it will become too hard for me to regain the position, anyway thanks for your advise, after you are telling me this,i thought of taking loan, but the situation does not favor me to do

Everyone hits a rough spot at some point in their life. I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. We all do what is necessary to survive. I hope the money can help you bounce back though.

sometimes letting go of possessions is sad on our part. just think of it this way, you can still get it back someday if you have the resources. experienced the same thing when i was having huge amounts of tuition at school.

I am so sorry to hear that. In the current situation (recession) we are all forced to do things we would normally not do. The worst part is we all feel obligated to hid e it because we feel insecure with he feeling of going down. Don't worry many of us are facing the same thing. So you are not alone. It's also ggod not to worry your parents about it as they get all tense about the situation.
