If I knew then what I know now...

What skills did you have to learn as an adult that you wish someone had taught you when you were a child or teenager? I wish I'd learned to cook earlier. My mother wasn't a good cook and I rarely had an opportunity to do any and grew up thinking it was complicated and mysterious.

I used to play piano when I was a kid. I did not like it and I hated practice. Now that I am older, I wish I showed more patience and learned it well. Or for that matter, learned any other musical instrument. I've come across some friends who are in band, and play part time. They are not big time musicians, but they bring in decent money in their spare time. If I only knew back then ....

Wow Bounce I was just in a similar discussion somewhere else on here and isn't that always the catch..you can go back..but you can't take what you know now with you. If only hindsight came first.
