playing games - In my eyes, playing games is really a waste of time. If people are playing games, when they have found a good job, then they shoule to stop playing games. If one is still playing games when working, they may have to face the danger of being laid off.
To be honest, I have never been addicted to playing games. You see, when I was in college, I was learning how to earn money online while most classmates around me were playing various interesting games. Now, when I am busy with my work now, it is next to impossible for me to waste any time on playing games. In fact, even if I have some spare time, then I tend to post responses here and chat with my friends online. In my eyes, playing games is really a waste of time. If people are playing games, when they have found a good job, then they shoule to stop playing games.

You are then richer then your college mates. If not in money then in enrichment. However, I do not think that gaming is a waste of time. If you are working, when you get home you may want to play a game instead of watch t.v. Its just a way to have fun!

All of us want to have fun some time. Regardless of the age, we still enjoy a good time every now and then. And what better to get fun than thru games? It helps to relax the person. It helps to pass and while away time. And it also give the person some sort of fun to enjoy the time he is playing the game. There will never be an age to stop playing games. Maybe the type of games played will evolved with age. But it is never something one should stop.

Yes I do play video games. Sometimes Card or Board games though! My husband introduced me back into the world of gaming, though I used to not play games so often because of something I had but grew out of! I am very happy to be playing video games again though as they are really fun. I think that people of any age can and should play games whether it be video, card, board or sports!

I'm not afraid to admit I still play games, yet nowhere near as much as when I were younger due to being more busy, having more things to do and just generally having less of a desire to play them. Honestly, I see no problem whatsoever in adults playing games. Hell, if adults weren't supposed to play them, we wouldn't have games rated 18+ or having all these brilliant new features added onto the consoles such as FaceBook. I personally think that as long as you don't become obsessed and don't allow them to control your life, then there's absolutely nothing wrong in perching yourself in front of the TV and having some fun with them from time to time. Unfortunately, I've met real life examples of people who have become slaves to certain games (World of Warcraft, horrible game), and have lost entire social circles due to their addiction. However, I believe that if you don't allow yourself to stoop to such a level, then you should be able to play games free of judgement. For me, I enjoy playing games on occasion because they give me a chance to unwind and are an effective way of temporarily forgetting any stresses or troubles. Also, I find them inspiring whenever I need to hand in a piece of creative writing for an Englisih class, and can provide me with something to talk about if I am struggling to spark up a conversation with people I know.

Wow, a deep thinking Well i guess a games is made to entertain us, that's their goal, it's not made to replace your real life with that

Furthermore (forgot to add this to my previous post), games can be a wonderful way of connecting with younger kids such as nieces and nephews, especially if you are at an age where you find you just don't have the energy to keep up with them. Sitting down, relaxing with them and guiding them through a game can be an enjoyable experience, and you can teach them something whilst at the same time having fun with them (especially if the game offers educational merit).

Yeah I love to play games. I like to play various games on the internet, even some that I played when I was still a teenager. I also have a Nintendo Wii, and have plenty of fun games with that, and I don't own a single "M for Mature" game, because I enjoy the games for teens and kids alot more, the games for 17+ just are not my cup of tea. I don't care if I'm "too old", I have so much fun doing it, and so it makes my life better.

In my opinion Teen and kids Games is much more entertaining to relieve the stress rather than adult games, which need more concentration, and if we can't finishing it, sometimes bring another stress

In my opinion, people of all ages can play games anytime they want.Im not into games. But I do play cards sometimes.I hardly ever play online games.I can understand why people like them, but people who are really addicted to these games are those who are not good at self_control.In fact,Im kind of envying those who are good at playing games,I think they are smarter.

I'm afraid, if we grow up and become an adult, it's a little bit hard to have a time playing games, so it's not really anytime we want but why did you envy ing them?

I don't think anyone is too old to play games. Even if my hair and teeth falls out I'd still be playing a few games that I like. Chess has to be there so I don't think there's an age that is inappropriate for games. Back 10-15 years ago, most people thought that adults should no longer play video games but that surely changed when technology became more advanced and better games came out.
• Indonesia

Lol It's good, i think chess is one of oldest and longest games in the world that still and will exist for the next generation, i hope With the technology progress, i guess there will be alot of new games available in the future

I still play computer games at my age of 24. I play less frequently than I used to when I was a teen but that is only because I get preoccupied with my job. During my free time I put out my playstation portable and play for hours. Playing is something that should not only be for young ones. The kind of play may change but playing and having fun will always be part of human life I think.

Yaa sometimes job is one of the reason why people have less time or even stop at all to spend their time playing, or enjoying their hobby, so if you still have your free time, it's good for you

Who said that gsmes are only for kids. I love playing computer games, console games and even board games. At the moment i think the wii console grabs most of my attention, especially the wii fit. Its a great way to burn the calories and have fun at the same time. It's all down to the individual, some people don't believe in using computers or even mobile phones. Age is only a number!

I love playing games. I use to think that its only childrens thing to play games. Because I am bought up like that but later I thought its my wish and I can do whatever I want.. ;) :) I dont play games for killing time but I do play games for fun, earning money and so on. When I start playing I will forget this world. :) I play most of the games available online. I do play mobile games when I feel bored sometimes. Sometimes I play offline games too not because I dont have internet available just to feel the difference. I use to go out and play cricket but now I cant after my accident. hmm but never mind I have my online games available to play.. See you in any online games. :)

Yes, I love playing games, especially on my Nintendo DS. I don't think it's necessary for an adult to stop playing games. As long as a person does not neglect his responsibilities in favor of playing games, then there is no need to rob somebody of the fun of playing games. Some people though just outgrow playing video games. They find other interests and hobbies to focus on. But for some people, like me for example, playing video games is one of my hobbies. I enjoy it a lot!

Yaa you right, a games is not a place to run the responsibilites, talking about a games, there is so much mylotter who likes to play video games ... what happened to traditional games?

I play games regularly. I love to play games. I am still addicted to counter strike and play it whenever I have some time. I have not stopped playing games, but definitely the time I used to spend on games have decreased. I have to do a lot of work so do not get much time to do other things. Mylot is another thing that takes up a lot of my free time. I do not want to stop playing games. I still keep up to date with the latest game releases and try them out.

OH,yeah. Even if I am a mom now I still manage to find the time to play a few games. It's the best way to relax after a very long and tiring day. I don't know if I will ever stop playing, maybe only when there won't be any good games left to play. But even then I think I will replay the ones I already know. I'm a fan of adventure games and I like those little games Big Fish has to offer. Either hidden object or time management I always have two games installed on my computer ready to be played. I don't know at what age an adult should stop playing games, but as for myself I don't intend to quit this hobby too soon.
